I've done a couple of at home keratin treatments with success so I wasn't really worried about this one. I have medium length, wavy, healthy hair. I just wanted to relax the wave and get some help with the frizz for summer.
This treatment did nothing. After the 48 hours, I washed my hair and it was wavy out of the shower as usual. It actually felt really dry--probably from the extreme flat ironing.
The instructions said to put the treatment in, leave on for the 20 minutes, rinse out, and use the clarifying shampoo again. Why? The last two treatments I used, you LEFT THE TREATMENT IN and blew your hair dry. The 2 (or 3) days you couldn't put it up or wash it were torture because the hair felt so greasy. Not this one. My hair felt normal and DRY. No shine, no grease, no nothing. I'm really disappointed. Again, I feel like the instructions are just not right.
Also, I had a friend who is a hair stylist help me. She also wondered why you would rinse the treatment out.

I was really excited about this after my beautician recommended a relaxer. I have really thick, long curly/wavy hair and its hard to manage. It takes me about an hour and a half to flat iron my hair on average. I followed the instructions TO A T! It took me like 4 hours all together. The shampoo DEFINITELY had chemicals in it because I could smell them. My hair is now COURSE and breaking. I had healthy beautiful hair before but just needed it tamed....so much worse now. I hate that I had to spend 30 bucks on something that didnt even work but made matters worse. I am a single Mom and cant afford a salon treatment that they recommend so I had to try something. Now I will be trying to fix my hair.....might even have to cut it off to start over. Very upset. :(

I have used several at home Keratin smoothing systems, and have had several done at the salon. This product leaves hair dry and frizzy - no shine, no silky feel. Wasted time and money!

I have been nursing my hair back from a really bad Japanese straightening a few years ago. After noticing I would nvr get my curls back I decided to go straight. I tried this and it worked awesome...The smell from the actual treatment is not as strong as other treatments I've tried. super easy to use. Tip: the instructions say to dry hair with blow dryer to remove excess moisture & then flatiron. Which I did, ended up burning some of my ends. the heating process seals the follicle. I suggest after washing process is done & you have your leave-in conditioner in......straighten your hair as you normally would. for example: I let my hair air dry & then I blow dry straight & flat iron imperfections. For this product, blow dry straight & then flat-iron straight to seal the treatment in.. other than that, I am definitely using it again.
