Soak-Off Gel Polish LED Curing Light is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't cure gel polish Used this lamp once and will be returning it. Left my client's nails under the light for 3 minutes and the gel polish wiped right off. Doesnt seem to actually be powerful enough to do its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and easy to use. I bought this light last week and I love it. After reading some of the reviews I wonder if the problems are simple user errors. It work just as advertised. I use it with the Gelish Mini System and had no issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I have experience with at home gel polish - I've been using the inexpensive Sally Hansen system for at least a year. Lately, I've been seeing that there are newer LED Nail Lamps that will cure the polish much more quickly so I did some research and decided to try this. The FingerPaints LED lamp is a 9w LED lamp (3w more than my Sally Hansen). The box and literature claim it cures in 30 seconds per layer vs the 2 minutes per layer of my current lamp. Not true! It took the full two minutes to cure. I tested a nail at 30 secs, 60 secs and 90 secs and am sure that the polish took 2 minutes to set. So, given that it takes just as long as my old one and did not deliver the expected results, this lamp will be returned. Also, it is SMALL. I felt like I was going to bump my nails every time I tried to put four fingers in (unless your hand is tiny, you'll have to do thumbs separately). I'm going to try an 18W version from Vogue Beauty that I'll get at Amazon instead. Very disappointed in this lamp.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gelish Disappointed. The polish is so thin you can see through it. I have a couple of nails with permanent dark spots. OPI and CND shellacs cover these with no problem. Gelish does not. Might take 4 coats to look really good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Very happy with product, price was comparable to others. Works great, love the automatic shut-off timer. Wish I could do all 5 nails at once, but I like the size of the light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy! Using the light and applying my own gel nails was fun, easy, looks exactly like a salon manicure, and so far has lasted as long as salon gels too. I tossed out all my regular polish and just store this little LED light with cord, polishes, and remover in a cute compact makeup bag. I have no issue curing my thumbs separately, I do 4 fingers at a time on each hand then do my thumbs last. I was spending $40 every 2 weeks for gel manicures. I got the fingerpaints system with a coupon so it will pay for itself in one month!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked as Advertised! First, let me say that I am a rotten nail technician. I can barely apply polish without making a mess. (sigh). This was the first time I did gels on my own and it worked like a charm. I removed my acrylics about 5 weeks ago, so I am still growing my own nails out. I am using a just base and top coat until I am clear of the weak nails. Second, the FingerPaints starter kit and LED light work as advertised. The instructions state that the product will remain tacky until the Gel Cleanse at the end of the process. Finally, this is a four finger light and will not accommodate a full hand. If the extra minute to do thumbs is an issue, look for another light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this little LED lamp I purchased this lamp because it was on sale. It is small enough to fit in my nail kit. I tried to do all 5 fingers however found it best to do 4 fingers then thumbs separately (as suggested in the instructions). It is only 30 seconds per coat, so it is still faster than my full hand UV lamp doing (when doing my own nails). I think my full hand lamp would still be faster when I'm doing someone else's nails as you're working on 2 hands at a time (it takes me more than 30 sec to paint the other hand). For dark colors (black, navy, dark purple) I pressed the button twice. Happy with my purchase :)
