Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thought it was perfect and then...... I really have a love/hate relationship with this lightess gel. I've purchased the gel and the cure activator like 3 times in the last year because I would use it love it , then use it again , hate it , throw it away and then want to give it another try. This time I think Im done with using it. I apply 1 coat thinkly with a gel resin brush (because its easier than the applicator tip that it comes with) and then cure it . I do this process twice on my natural nail and if Im covering tips then I will repeat it 3 times. NO MATTER how thin I go or how many coats I do or dont do, my nail will look really nice and shiny (after buffing and applying a top coat) but a day later the gel cracks and looks like shattered glass. I dont understand why. IF I leave the gel on the cracks start to break in like 3 days. I wish ASP could fix this or atleast recommend a solution to stop the cracking. I asked a sales girl at Sallys before and she said everyone complains it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No UV light Needed! After much research on this product, I finally bought it & I love it. I wanted an alternative to applying nail tips other an with acrylic usage and I have found this to be so much better as well as natural looking. You will need to have the ASP Gel Cure (Activador Spray) to use with it. There is no harsh odor - only from the ASP Gel Cure but its not too bad. Sets super fast. It is suggested to use a applicator on the bottle, I find that placing a drop in the middle of the nail works better for me then to brush it on. Instead of using a gel brush to spread it evenly (3 coats). I had a emply PH Bond bottle - filled it with acetone and use that brush. Works just as well & prevents the brush from hard from the LIght Less Gel. Finishing touch - I applied a top coat (gel product since that's what I use alot of) and it looks so nice. You can use regular nail polish top coat too. I really do love this and so glad I got it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Allergic to Most Gels but not this!! I had to stop doing Gel nails because I was horribly allergic to UV gel.. however I can use this with no itching, or peeling of the skin... its very easy to use...get the kit though!! it works out a lot cheaper to buy that ...however it really works!!! keep it off the skin around the nail though to avoid over exposure which is what caused my allergic reaction to gels in the first place. Do two somewhat thick coats and this should last fairly well.

Can I put this OVER polish?

I was wondering if this could be put over regular polish as a sort of gel topcoat?
