Additional Information

  • Features liquifuse technology
  • Gentle, extra mild toner
  • Evenly pre-lightens hair

Wella Color Charm Permanent Liquid Hair Toner with liquifuse technology is ideal for creating pure double process blonde hair color results. The extra mild formulation gently and evenly removes brass tones to achieve a perfect blonde every time.
Pre-lighten the hair to desired level before applying toner. Mix 1 part Wella Color Charm toning color with 2 parts 20 volume Wella Color Charm developer. Apply to towel dried hair then, develop for up to 30 minutes. Check frequently to see if desired results are achieved.
You can customize the toner formula by intermixing shades. For example, if you want a shade that is in between an ash tone and a warm tone, try mixing equal parts of T-18 and T-14 with equal parts of T-11 or T-35.

Wella T18 toner Great product !! Easy to apply , wonderful color, leaves hair soft. May 17, 2015
Great Product I used this after I bleached my hair. The top of my hair from the roots to about three inches down was that nasty brassy color while the rest of my hair was the platinum blonde that I wanted. I picked this up and used 30 volume developer using a 1:2 ratio (1 part color to 2 parts developer). It worked like a dream. My hair is now one color and it isn't brassy orange at all. I would use this again and tell everyone I know about it as well! April 10, 2015
Not as light as I thought I lifted my hair color to the lightest shade possible, and I thought this toner would help it turn an ashy platinum/white, but it is more of a pale beige, much darker than I wanted but there are minimum brassy tones. If you're trying to go very light I would suggest looking into a different shade. I debated using the T18 instead of the T14, and now I'm thinking I should have used the T18 to get the results I wanted. March 24, 2015
It did work pretty well I'm transitioning from dark brown to blonde and all over the internet it says to use this toner after bleaching. The thing is, after I bleached my hair for the 2nd time, it came out bright, almost cartoony, yellow with some orange pieces. I used 2 bottles because my hair is chest length (If longer or thicker, I suggest 3).After applying, i left it in for 30 minutes. It for sure toned down the yellow to a very pale yellow blonde. It looks so much better than before, but It's still a little too yellow for me, so I'll probably tone it with one more bottle. If your bleached hair turned out pale yellow, I'm sure this would work for you! January 2, 2015

I got an ombre done a few weeks ago. After a few washes the brown top turned orange while the bottom was a brassy yellow. Can I use the T18 toner on my hair? I'm aware it may look uneven but as long as it isn't brassy I'm okay with that.

Yes it should be fine as long as you put it on evenly the brassiness will go away
It doesn't matter if you have ombre as I do and I use the t18 it my top part is just darker with no brassy tones and the bottom is close to platinum

I have very yellow-gold hair at the moment (after bleaching my hair over the course of months) but my natural color is dark brown so I have been using 30 volume developer. Would that work with this toner or should I use a 20 volume developer instead?

I have been looking for a toner that would give me the same results I was getting with the Clariol Sheer blonde toner that I was using and they don't make anymore. With that toner you used 2oz.(1/4 cup) of Developer with the toner and applied and left it on 15 min. max. I was wondering about the ratio of developer. How much per 1 bottle of toner do you use exactly? 30 minutes for a toner? - -do you really have to leave on that long? I've heard about people getting purple hair from this toner- is that true? Are the results as grayish as the sample pictures?

What would you suggest

I want to go platinum without cutting my short ends. I have let my very, white new growth grow for a few months. Would a toner, without bleaching, on my very pale, tinted ash blond ends, even the the color? There is little definition between colors.
Please recommend products, peroxide and process to meet my goal? (Former hairdresser, so it's not such a stretch)
Please advise.

Thanx,

MKY

I used Wella Color Charm #T18 Lightest Ash Blonde with a 30 volume developer using 1 part color to 2 parts developer. It took all the orange brassy color out of my hair.
