Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the color I was looking for I just bought this yesterday and let me tell you the color is just what I wanted for fall, I used the deep auburn red and it came out such a pretty Red that I think I'm going to stick to it and I think it looks so pretty on my pixie cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product for dark haired beauties. I had heard a lot about this product so I just went with it hoping it would turn out well. It certainly did not disappoint - but my ends were faded to a lighter brown. It's extremely vibrant considering there's no bleach process. I definitely will turn back to this for my touch ups.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THE DYE FADED IN LESS THEN A WEEK!!!!! I never had an issue with this brand before!! Calling to complain to lorel i was redirected 3 times and then reached a number they said i had to call 4 times at different hours and it said all advisers were in training!! The bottom of my hair is an ugly pink!!!!! I look absolutely disgusting. and since it has been less than a week i cannot re dye my hair!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No, just no Used the product for years since I was 15, worked amazing and was a dark red. Suddenly I used it to redo and my hair wasn't red at all even though I had just used the same product previously. they must have changed something because my hair is now brown

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This I have like level 2 black hair, so it's a pretty difficult to lift I decided to do my own hair because I don't have the resources to process for hours, seriously damage my hair with a ton of bleach and toner, and spend so much money because the process takes forever. This has gone okay. Obviously, my roots are much more brilliant than the rest of my hair, but so far, I really love the color. Very pretty, very vibrant. I have a volume 40 that I'm going to keep processing the ends of my hair with in a few days. I knew the process would take time but I haven't lost one strand of hair, and it has lifted. Can't wait to see how it goes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love The Color I've been using this color for 6 months now. It lasts and it doesn't dry out my hair. I'm very happy. I get lots of compliments on the color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a darker red I actually wanted a more brighter color, but didn't realize this was a darker red. Still looked good on my naturally black hair, though. I ended up using a box of the L'Oreal hicolor hilights in red a few days later. I did get a slightly brighter red, but I knew that my hair was already so black, it could only lift the color 3-4 levels to get the dye in.

does this require bleaching your hair and can it be harmful to my curls ?

Asked by: pinksmokes
If you have black hair, the color may not "take". It didn't affect my curl pattern but the color isn't as vibrant as I wanted.

So my hair is still box dyed red from roots to tips and my hair is naturally black. Do i need to strip all the boxed red dye out of my hair for this product to work like using "Color Oops"?? Or do i color over-top of my hair using these products?

Asked by: Jackiesue
No, just dye it. This line is designed to avoid having strip your hair.

Will this work for color treated hair? I colored my hair a medium brown and it does have brassy tones. Also do I need to purchase a developer?

Asked by: Byoung123
Mine was color treated before I used it. You do need a developer as well

I have naturally dark brown hair i box dyed medium dark brown like 8 months ago. Ive got a lot of new growth . I want a medium reddish color. Will this dye work on my previously dyed hair? If so what developer should i use? Or do i need to lighten 1st?

Asked by: teamJK14
Hey! I had dark brown hair, not colored but i honestly don't think it matters, and the red took to me really well after a few colors. The red will deff work on dark hair, I use developer 30. Don't lighten. But it will take a few colorings

I died my hair black a year ago, i would say half of my hair is virgin but the tips are still very black. Would this still work on dark hair?

Asked by: Izzy2020
The tips may lighten but not nearly as much as the virgin hair.

Is it mandatory to use the loreal oreor creme for this?

Asked by: Kittie90
No it's not mandatory. But if you have dark hair it's not going to show up bright like it says. Your going to need to lighten your hair.
