Rated 2 out of 5 by from No, just no Used the product for years since I was 15, worked amazing and was a dark red. Suddenly I used it to redo and my hair wasn't red at all even though I had just used the same product previously. they must have changed something because my hair is now brown

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This I have like level 2 black hair, so it's a pretty difficult to lift I decided to do my own hair because I don't have the resources to process for hours, seriously damage my hair with a ton of bleach and toner, and spend so much money because the process takes forever. This has gone okay. Obviously, my roots are much more brilliant than the rest of my hair, but so far, I really love the color. Very pretty, very vibrant. I have a volume 40 that I'm going to keep processing the ends of my hair with in a few days. I knew the process would take time but I haven't lost one strand of hair, and it has lifted. Can't wait to see how it goes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a darker red I actually wanted a more brighter color, but didn't realize this was a darker red. Still looked good on my naturally black hair, though. I ended up using a box of the L'Oreal hicolor hilights in red a few days later. I did get a slightly brighter red, but I knew that my hair was already so black, it could only lift the color 3-4 levels to get the dye in.

hi can u tell me if this would work over previously dyed hair? my hairs natural colour is brown it's now burgundy red I'm wanting to go bright red. pls help xx

Asked by: lisa30xx
My natural hair is dark blonde, fine, and straight-ish, I've been coloring it just about every month for 15+ years, and this is my FAVORITE red. I love to do half and half Intense Red and Natural Black for a dark but vibrant red, and Red Hot was fun, but too 'Little Mermaid' for me. If you want fire engine or Crayola red, try the Red Hot. *Pro tip: always wash your red colored hair in as cold a water as you can stand, and this color should last and still look pretty good for 4-6 weeks.

I dyed my hair black like a month ago and i want a lighter color, maybe a brown . Will this dye do the job?

Asked by: NeftaliG
I think it will. However, I would wait another few weeks for the black to fade. Also, add a few drops of Argon oil into the dye mix, it will make it extremely shiney

I had my hair dyed black about 8 months ago, I want to go bright red but the black isn't fading much and I naturally have light brown hair. Will I end up with hot roots? How do I avoid hot roots and will it get rid of the black color?

Asked by: Alison830
You unfortunately cannot lift color with color. Once the hair has been colored dark, you must first remove the dark in order to lift. I would not try this at home if you are not a licensed professional. This will require professional service.

Will this product cover African american hair? Wants red with no bleaching.

Asked by: Brenda01
Yes. We mixed 1 box of magenta with a red to make the red really vibrant. If you want to to go super red that's what I would do.

my hair is currently dyed a lvl 3 and I have a few layers of level 3 on my hair.(was a lvl 1 managed to lighten to a lvl 3) Would using this change my hair color at all? I'm so bored of having black hair and need a change

Asked by: Jkapz123
It might give your hair a redish tint. Although a lvl 3 is pretty dark. It's possible it might not lift it that much.
