Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Love this product. We've tried the red and the magenta. The color came out better then we expected, since there was no pre-lightening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best red hair dye ! Only dye I use when I dye my hair red ! Red hair is hard to maintain in general but if you're looking to go Rihanna red, this is the dye for you ! (Will not work on boxed dyed hair so if your hair is boxed dyed I suggest you strip hair color out before use)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Color I've purchased the Magenta hair color, I wanted a bright red with no Bleaching since I hate the damage that bleaching does . I mixed it with 20 developer and Wala I got a bright red color my hair color was medium.brown. Now I'm just doing research hooping to find a Purple hair dye with same great results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very bright! I have dark brown hair and this works very well. Sadly the top of my head takes the color better than the bottom but I do the roots last now. I have to color at least every other month because it bleeds a lot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No good In the past 2 week I have tried Magenta 2 time and a Red 1 time mixed with a 40 vol and the only thing that took was my roots. It says it's for dark hair. The Question I have ,is it for African American hair?

I dyed my hair using the red color and 20 developer and it's barely red.Would using the  magenta and 30 developer brighten it up or 40? Also how soon can I dye it again? P.S my hair was a dark brown before.

Asked by: Mochaskinbeauti
I would use the 30 developer. I make sure my hair is unwashed for three days before i dye it because it helps the dye to set better. I put a plastic bag or shower cap over it to set. The heat helps in the processing. I dont recommend mixing the colors because megenta tends to come out darker almost purpleish red. My processing times is 40 mins. Make sure you test your hair before rinsing with paper towel and strip the color from that strand. I would wait at least six weeks to do another all over color. 4 weeks for touch ups. This is because it does contain bleach and will really kill your hair. Hope this helps

I naturally have black hair, i had blonde hair and 6months of grown out black, I bleached the black to blonde so my hair can be one color, can I use this dye, mix a small amount of black dye into it to keep it from being to bright? I got the copper shade

Asked by: TinyEleven
Mixing black into the dye seems like a really bad idea. You could try using a low developer like 10 or 20 volume. I wouldn't mix black into it though.

I used to have bright red hair for about 3 years and a few month ago I went dark. Not black. I was wondering if this dye will work on processed hair? I used to bleach it then dye it. Also what developer would you guys recommend if using this dye is for me

I used this dye and my hair was brown with blonde highlights and it came out great, and I used 20 vol developer

I dyed my hair a semi-permant black 10-11 months ago and it has since mostly faded out into my natural dark brown color and I was wondering what I should do to dye my hair this red color? Like what volume of developer I should use? Or if I can even dye it

Asked by: Lxxip0502
Hi I dyed my hair jet black about 5 months ago! I used 40 volume developer and my hair came out great, with no breakage or damage

My hair has blonde highlights, will this affect the color? And when it fades will my hair be a lighter color than it was before I dye it?

Asked by: Mayyyyyy
Yeah your hair will be a brighter red where the highlights are. It will never completely fade back to blonde and it will lighten those bits depending on what volume developer you use

I have dark red hair but want 2go red, not too bright. Ive been using ion color brilliance with a 20 developer, roots end up darker than the rest of the hair. If i use this with a 20 dev would my hair look red now instead of dark red? is 10 d better?

Asked by: EmmaRedd
This already has a lift in  it. If you were to use a 20 developer you would end up with bright red hair. I use it with a 30  and end up with a very vibrant results. I have naturally dark hair that I have been coloring red for years.  I use this during the summer months for very vibrant color and go darker in the fall and winter. One thing to keep in mind when using this, do your roots last or you'll end up with very hot roots... unless you like that or have short hair like I do and it makes the color pop even more.  You cannot compare this to other hair colors because it has its own lift built-in so you will end up with brighter results using this product then with ion or other red hair colors.  I hope this helps.  Happy coloring!
