What is it?
Manic Panic Semi-Permanent Color Cream Virgin Snow is a violet-based toner, not a semi-permanent dye. For the whitest tint of platinum blonde, or to tone the yellow out of your hair before dyeing, our Virgin Snow™ is an absolute must-have. After applied to level 10 pre-lightened hair, the color will come out as white and unadulterated as freshly fallen snow. This vegan toner is tested on celebrities, not animals™.
What makes it special?

Manic Panic Semi Permanent Cream Hair Colors work best on hair that is pre-lightened:

  1. Always wear protective gloves when applying and rinsing color out, and make sure to use petroleum jelly or a thick conditioner around the hairline and ears to prevent any unwanted staining.
  2. Before applying color, shampoo hair using a deep cleansing shampoo. Apply color to freshly washed, dry hair.
  3. Empty the desired amount of Manic Panic Hair Color into a coloring bowl. Apply evenly to hair with a tint brush.
  4. Do not apply directly to the scalp, start 1/2 inch from scalp. Saturate hair thoroughly. Comb evenly through the hair until it becomes frothy.
  5. Cover hair in plastic cap and leave on for 30 minutes. For added intensity heat may be used.
  6. Rinse hair in cold water away from face and body until the water runs clear. Do not rinse hair in the shower.
  7. Once water runs clear, apply a thick conditioner to hair and rinse again until water runs clear. To maintain color, use a sulfate free shampoo.

Manic Panic Semi-Permanent Cream Hair Color FAQs:

Q: What is the difference between semi-permanent and permanent hair dye?

A: Semi-permanent hair dye is designed to gradually fade out over time, typically lasting anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Permanent hair dye, on the other hand, is designed to last until your hair grows out or you cut it.

Q: How do I apply Manic Panic’s Semi-Permanent Cream hair dye?

A: Start by washing your hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove any buildup or residue. Towel-dry your hair, then apply the dye evenly using gloves and a tint brush. Leave it on for the recommended time (usually around 30 minutes), then rinse it out with cool water.

Q: Will Manic Panic hair color work on dark hair?

A: Manic Panic’s Semi-Permanent Hair Color Cream works best on pre-lightened or bleached hair, but it can also work on darker hair if you leave it on for longer. Keep in mind that the color will likely be less vibrant on darker hair than on light hair.

Q: Is Manic Panic’s hair dye vegan and cruelty-free?

A: Yes! Manic Panic is committed to using only vegan and cruelty-free ingredients in all of their products.

Q: How long will the hair color last?

A: The longevity of the color depends on a number of factors, such as what color you pick, your starting hair color level, how often you wash your hair, and how well you take care of it. Generally, Manic Panic color will last for 4 to 6 weeks, then gradually fade over time.
