this really works This was advised by the store clerk who also works in a salon. SHE WAS RIGHT! This was easy: microwaves quickly, fairly painless (including bikini area) IF you use the pre spray in the kit, keep the strips long, hold the skin tight and pull QUICK! Not messy if you use a sheet of paper to work on to save your counter. I used baby oil to clean up spills without issue. June 11, 2012
I am a new woman... I will now GLADLY pay any price to a salon for their professional wax services! I did my homework and chose this wax based on reviews. I gave it one star because it did actually remove hair. But what a mess! I can't get it off my floors and I think I'll be rubbing wax off my legs for weeks. And sticking to my pants! Save your $$$, use it to tip the professional and let them do the dirty work. Never, ever again. April 1, 2011
Do NOT Purchase GiGi Hemp Wax!! I was looking at different waxes to wax my facial hair. I started looking at reviews for this wax and thought, "Why not try this?" This was the BIGGEST mistake!! I bought it today and once I came home and tried this prouduct I became extremely disappointed. I followed the directions and this stuff is way too gooey. This wax gets all over your fingers and just stays a thick consistency. It does not pull the wax off your face. In fact, it stays on even when you try to use the strips to get it off your face! I had to use oil to get off all the wax. I am not one to write reviews; however, I felt that I needed to express my opinion about this product because it doesn't work and is a waste of money!!! Awesome value...good wax I have been using Gigi's all purpose microwavable kits for years now. Since I only wax my eyebrows, I tried the Hemp to see if it would be a better option for my sensitive face. I just used it and can tell that it seems to leave my skin more soothed and more nourished then with the regular wax. The smell is a little funky, but not a turn off. As with any waxing, it was not without pain. But it sure beats tweezing! You can't beat the price of the kits. I don't use any of the little bottles of stuff except for the wax off (which is a great product and a must for this sticky stuff). But, it is still a great deal and I can purchase this set for the price of one professional eyebrow wax and it will last me a year since I use it for such a small area. If you know a thing or two about waxing then you should be in great shape with this product. If you have never waxed before then just be careful of getting it anywhere where you don't want hair removed from! April 19, 2010
