SheaMoisture Restorative Conditioner
At First I Hated This Conditioner
I bought this a few months ago and hated it my first, second and third use. It did nothing for my hair. Did not make manageability any easier and left my hair dry. So it sat in my closet for a few months. I decided to give it another try about a month ago. It left my 3c curls soft and more manageable and less tangled. The only thing I can think of that may have and must have changed the way this product works in my hair, is that a few months ago I stopped using products with silicones in them. After reading the ingredients on this label before using again "Emulsifying Wax", did worry me but bloggers are saying that this wax is an OK exception... Anyhow I love this product now and will be repurchasing.

Great Leave-In Conditioner
I love this as a leave-in conditioner. I use a rinse-out conditioner with protein in it, then a little bit of this, and then any styling products I'm going to use. It's a great detangler and doesn't leave build-up on my hair. It also doesn't have anything that may damage hair, no keratin or proteins, and minimal smell (just a natural shea butter smell, no perfume). I use this every day and am so happy I found it!

I love the Shea Moisture brand and have been using the Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner line for about a month or so and am really enjoying it.
I also use their curly line products then seal with coconut oil, and my hair has never been this soft. Love it :)

Above Average but I do not recommend
I got this product via the transition kit and I was so excited to use this. After washing and treating I applied this on my wet hair...and it just sat there. I worked it in, using my hands and it felt like no matter what I did it didn't absorb in my hair follicles. Normally when I use conditioners I don't expect to see it still on my hands after I work it into my hair but with this conditioner it was. Don't get me wrong, my hair felt softer, a bit more manageable but I had tangles out of this world! I couldn't comb my hair (from the roots) for the life of me without getting frustrated. I had thought this was good for detangling but I was wrong. Either way, after applying, I covered it with a conditioning cap and let it on for 30 mins; while using a warm/fairly cool dryer. I assumed this was when it was absorbed in my hair follicles but I couldn't be certain. I used it as a leave in conditioner and set my hair and went to bed. The following morning my hair was thick, and slightly unmanageable. I don't recommend for persons transitioning or with thick hair. It did nothing for my hair, except make it smell good and give it slight moisture.
