From fragile, thin hair to wavy, thick hair the Jilbere Nano Ceramic Straightening Iron is a professional flat iron that features a combination of Nano Silver Technology with the high heat conductivity of ceramic to deliver state-of-the-art performance with less stress and damage to the hair.
Special features include Nano Silver ceramic plates with advanced surround heat to straighten your hair up to 40% faster, eliminating the damage multiple passes can cause. Nano Silver is known for its antibacterial properties and promotes healthy hair and scalp.
Nano Silver Technology unites micro-particles of ceramic and silver for a unique combination of benefits that create smooth, silky hair and generate negative ions that eliminate frizz and close the cuticle, creating a smooth, glossy shine. Ceramic emits far infrared heat for gentler, faster styling. Nano Ceramic allows hair to glide through the plates effortlessly and fluidly for sleek, shiny results.
The maximum amount of far infrared heat penetrates hair from within and straighten without damaging the hair. A recessed digital ionic LED temperature control with 50 heat settings heats up to 450°F.
Using 1" partings, slowly pass the iron through hair section. The average number of passes to straighten hair differs on hair type.
For fine to normal hair, use 1- 2 passes. For more resistant hair, use 3- 4 passes. For more maximum movement, continue holding the hair at a 90-degree angle throughout the ironing process.
Use a thermal protectant spray designed to work along with your flat iron for lustrous, pin-straight hair.

Great iron, terrible durability! I love this iron, i think it has all the features a good iron should have. It's got your basics like a swivel cord and long cord length. What I love most is that it has a digital display that allows you to control the temperature, something most of the higher end irons don't have. Additionally, the heat controls are on the side of the iron instead of the inside which I like for safety reasons and ease of use. Hate that you have to reach into a hot iron to turn it off on some other models like the GDH, Sedu, Chi, etc. THAT SAID, I have been using this iron for something like 7 years now and this is my third one. Why? Because it stops working about every two years!! Luckily it's not so expensive that it's so painful to replace but still, it's such a bother to have to buy a new one and be without an iron for those few days/weeks. I favor products that are built with quality and this definitely does not stand the test of time. I read some other reviews state theirs lasted 8 years or so but mine certainly did not and when I wrote to Conair about it, they said they couldn't help because it was out of warranty even though another associate said they could....additionally they keep it for a few weeks to "test" the product before issuing a replacement. Are you kidding me?! No. I'm going to buy something a bit more high end and hope that that will last longer than just a few months out of warranty. Great for younger or first time users as it's very easy to use, good results, and won't burn your hands/hair. The use of the product is better towards the beginning of the shelf life, aka, shiner hair, smoother, less frizz, etc. Did find that my hair didn't stay straight/frizz free the entire day though. Maybe that's because I tend to use the lower heat settings (in the 300's) rather than the 400's to maintain somewhat healthy hair but still, I feel like a temperature high enough to make cookies should be hot enough to keep my hair styled all day. I'm blaming the iron for that one. Overall, good iron, not going to last you forever, but solid and does a good job. December 27, 2013
Very good for the price Heats up very fast and gives you variety of temperature for different hair, but still it left my high-lighted hair looking freezy. That's the only part i did not like. November 25, 2013
out of all the flat irons we have ever used in our salon i must say this nano ceramic by jilbere is by far the best one ...it heats up super fast, it get hot enough for any hair type, it seems to lasts forever (one finally died out after 8 years) we even use this iron for our thermal ionic straightening systems , this iron is simply amazing :-) thank you sally beauty November 1, 2013
Excellent I have fine straight hair but lots of it. I have always preferred flat irons that have the attached comb. After my Babyliss got a short in it a year ago I got a Chi. I hated the Chi. Why I never returned it is beyond me and I kept using my Babyliss. Lately I have bought and returned 3 different brand flat irons that just did not preform the way I wanted them too. Unless I wanted to order online it's very hard to find a flat iron with the attached comb. I took a chance on the Jilbere. Wow, the performance blew me away. It doesn't have the attached comb but it flattens my hair even better then I could of hoped. I've tried way more expensive irons and those didn't even compare to this one. This one is a keeper and I hope it holds up to style my hair for a few years to come. August 2, 2013
