Additional Information

  • Provides maximum strengthening
  • Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein & Calcium
  • Ideal for nails that tend to split and peel

OPI Nail Envy for Sensitive and Peeling Nails is a Formaldehyde-Free formula that protects against peeling with antioxidant Vitamin E and Kukui Nut Oil, soothing sensitive nails with aloe vera.

For maximum results, apply two coats of Nail Envy for Sensitive & Peeling Nails Formaldehyde-Free to each nail.  Then, apply one coat every other day.  After one week, use any OPI Polish Remover to remove all nail lacquer (if present) and Nail Envy Sensitive & Peeling Nails.  Begin application again.  Nail Envy Sensitive & Peeling Formaldehyde-Free works best as a base coat in actual contact with the natural nail.  It can also be used as a top coat over nail lacquer.

1) To apply, begin at the center of the nail, approximately 1/32" from the cuticle.  Let the bristles fan out for maximum coverage.  With one smooth stroke, brush out to the free edge.

2) Apply to each side of the initial brush stroke, overlapping slightly.

To strengthen natural nails, apply two coats of Nail Envy for Sensitive & Peeling Nails, followed by one coat every other day.

CAUSES peeling instead of preventing it! I'm a big fan of the original formula, so I thought I would give this version a try because I have problems with peeling and I thought I'd see how the formaldehyde-free version held up. This stuff is TERRIBLE! First I tried it as a base coat the same way I had used the original formula. Everything applied as normal and I had a lovely manicure - for a total of maybe 3 hours. After that, the polish started popping off nail by nail in one piece like Lee press ons! I lost 5 nails worth of polish that way before I could remove it properly and the surface of each one was peeled and damaged from the pull of the popped off polish. Since I didn't have time to re-do a full manicure, I thought I would try the formula one more time as a stand alone product. I applied it exactly as instructed over clean, dry nails, and STILL the polish came off the same day! It didn't pop off in one piece as it had before, but in a matter of hours the edges were chipping and flaking off bits of the product everywhere! I really regret purchasing this. The original formula works just fine, but this formulation was so terrible I'm hesitant to spend any money on the brand for a while. March 10, 2015
DIDN'T DO A THING FOR ME I have thin week nails that peel. I was constantly painting my nails and after 4 weeks with no sign of improvement I gave up. The consistency was sooo thick so after two coats it took a super long time to set. Over priced too. March 11, 2014
