Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cotton Candy Pink I bought this last Sunday to my freshly bleached and toned snow white hair. After application the color was gorgeous, exactly what I wanted. However, after just one wash with very safe shampoo, the color was almost completely gone. It stuck only to pieces very close to my scalp and not at all to any of the top layer, so it looked like the pink was gone altogether. After long research and deliberation, many people recommended this as the best pink dye. Unfortunately I will not be repurchasing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've always loved MP Virgin Snow I use Manic Panic Virgin Snow to freshen up my white blonde every few weeks. I have light blonde hair naturally and it's very porous so this works so well with my hair while leaving it manageable because it's not harsh. I do have to leave it on for 3+ hours for the effect I want, but good things are worth waiting for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Past Experience Ive been using Manic Panic for a long time now around like 6 or 7 years its the best for not damaging your hair ad staying in the longest. If the color is coming out fast then use cold water and you can add some of the dye into your conditioner or shampoo to help in-between washes. The Wildfire red I dyed on top of my dark brown hair and it came out very vivid, and no I didn't bleach or lighten the brown at all before. It stays in for quite a long time if you wash your hair in colder water. The issue is if you like the reds if you try to get rid of it they may stick in your hair for a while. The Pictures are of brown hair to the wildfire red then after 3 times of 40 volume bleach

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultra-violet I loved this product! I used it to tone my yellow hair and it gave me ash blonde! Just mix a quarter size amount this with about a cup of conditioner and leave on for 40 minutes and boom no damage and no yellow hair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Brand!`` I started dying my hair unnatural colors when I was 11. Im now 18. In the past 7 years, I have tried many different brands, but Manic Panic has always been what I seem to go back to. I love how vibrant each of the colors are, and the Virgin Snow toner is absolutely amazing!

My hair naturally is more of a light brown/dark blonde, and I'm wanting to dye it a rose gold/smokey pink. I plan to bleach it but I'm unsure on what dye to use, whether this brand or another. Personally I want something that'd last... Recommendations?

Asked by: justabasicname
I love manic Panic but it is not the best for staying power. Its formulated to rise out fairly quickly so you can change up your color a lot! I usually leave my manic colors in for upwards of 4 hours so that it will last longer. But especially with a softer rose gold color, i might use a different brand. You could check out Ion!

How. An I get dark hair to take in color the best?

If you want it as bright as they advertise then you will need to bleach your hair first.

Do they stain the shower floor?

Asked by: DelilahC
I've certainly had it stain, but Mrs. Meyers Cream Cleanser takes the stain away no problem!

Hello all i just bleached my hair and killed it but itss a yellow looking color but very light and i want to try thr steel blue or snow color but i was wondering what color they would pull on yellowish hair?

Asked by: lmoore24
Blue Steel is a light gray colour not blue at all and Virgin Snow is just meant to help cancel out some of the yellow tones to look like a more even tone of blond but unless your hair is very light yellow like a pale banana not like a lemon you wont get much out of the Virgin Snow. Since the first ingredient in Manic Panic is Aloe Vera gel it's like a hair conditioner with colour in it so it will make your damaged hair feel better after using it.

Does this work well on graying hair? Does it damage hair texture? Any color recs for hair that is transitioning from brown to gray? I stopped coloring 10 mos ago and half long hair that is 3/4 still brown and 1/4 gray from the roots to above my ears.

This product does not damage your hair. If anything it conditions your hair. I personally bleach my hair (which damages it)from dark brown to blond, then put in manic panic for 2+ hours (my personal choice) and my hair is better then before. Due to it not being a traditional box dye you can use as much or as little as you need and keep the rest of the jar for next time! Hope this helps!

Will the color show vibrantly if used on unbleached dark/black hair?

Asked by: Keki9436
Nope. It says right on the bottle that it is for pre-lightened hair that is very pale yellow to platinum. My first experience with Manic Panic was trying to use Purple Haze on almost black hair. It did nothing but stain my scalp purple. So I decided to bite the bullet and go platinum. A friend of mine uses Ion blue on her son's dark brown hair, and it works quite well. So if you don't want to bleach, I would suggest finding another brand.

I want to use the manic panic after midnight blue how much blue it will show cause I don't want to bleach my hair is want to keep it like dark

Asked by: Looking for A
If you hair is not prelightened manic panic colors will not show. A suggestion would be to add highlights under the hair so the color will peek out instead of bleaching all of your hair.
