Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful color! just what I wanted I LOVE how my hair looks! i went to a salon to get it done burgundy but it washed out within 2 washes to a brown color so i picked this up at sally's and did it myself and i could not be more happy with the beautiful color pay off. So yes, my hair was bleached because i had dyed it blue/black 5 months before. The only down part it this color bleeds alot. If you sweat, or get some water on your hair you will bleed pink lol BUT the color is def worth it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blue Steel Don't buy this in the shade Blue Steel. I used it on hair bleached to varying tones ranging from the lightest yellow to a lighter brassy orange, and it did absolutely nothing. The lightest bits turned vaguely green, while the rest of it took no dye at all. The other Manic Panic shades work fairly well, but this particular one was completely pointless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It used to be good. It used to be one of the best I used but now when I used it washed out after two washes and didn't cover everything. My friend also used it on her blonde hair and it turned brown with purple streak when she used Ultraviolet purple. I will not be buying Manic Panic again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Last long I bough this about 2 months ago. I wet my hair often because I have natural and the color has lasted. A little discoloration by my roots, but that's normal when I dye my hair

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always Love Manic Panic This colour Ultra Violet is so vibrant--purple/blue. Although it washes out kind of fast (lasts 3 weeks with one wash a week) I love it! Manic panic makes my hair feel great, and it's vegan friendly and cruelty free which is important to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love the color I use this once a month to maintain the color. much easier and not stinky like most do it yourself colors

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved from a Hair Disaster My hair was completely fried after a bleach then a coloring then a bleach bath to remove the coloring that came out an awful clay green brown color. After all these processes I really needed to tone down yellow/orange brassiness. Because I was so afraid my hair was going to start breaking and falling out, I absolutely could not risk any more oxidation processes. SO I decided to try Manic Panic Semi-Permanent Hair Color Cream in Virgin Snow White Toner/Mixer. This worked wonders. My color is now a soft white yellow. This product is very conditioning. It is a creamy consistency and is easy to apply. I left it on my hair for 3 hours and did not experience any irritation at all. This product really saved my hair from all the damage I had done to it. I will definitely continue to use this product and use other colors from this brand.

My daughter wants to use this for Halloween. Will she get her natural color back when it all washes out?

Asked by: Flipper9898
It last a solid 3 weeks, but if she has light hair even those Halloween sprays will stay in her hair. I say wig lol

How long does the color last if its semi-permanent? I only need this for a few days

Asked by: KAWright
I was suggested to use this or loreal hicolor, which would be better? And what all do I keep to use it? I have medium dark brown hair, which one should I use to get a deep red

Asked by: nochillsydney
Yes.  I dyed my hair which is regular brown and one of my friends who was Asian and had very dark hair and all we did was we lightened the hair with the lighting kit first and the color showed up very well and didn't damage the hair at all.

can you use part of the jar and save the rest of the jar for use another time

Asked by: lanabee1
Absolutely! Manic Panic is not like regular hair dye so it doesn't 'process' or have to be mixed.

Why is it NOT recommended for hair more than 10% white? My roots are completely white, when they're not coloured. I want to try Blue Steel .I want my hair to appear silvery white. Please advise. ION Titanium makes it much too dark grey. Thanks

Asked by: scarletttttt
I have no idea why it's not recommended for over 10% white hair. However I use this product on my hair, which is completely white, it turns your hair a blue/silvery/grey colour rather than silvery white. You could try mixing it with some conditioner to lighten it, I used to do that with lie locks manic panic which worked well as a silver colour (just keep in mind it's always going to have the tint of the colour you use in it). Hope that helps.

If you have access to a professional hairstylist, I would recommend having them use Kenra's Silver Metallic line of color. They also have a Violet Metallic that is a nice ashy color. I would use a level 8 or 9, depending on how you would like it to fade.
