Quick Fix The Lotion is great for making your hair soft when styling your hair once but it does little for long term moisture. If not careful hair will beome very greasy. I use the lotion after wetting my hair to soften it just a liitle after being in braid/twist for a week. January 28, 2014
great product Started back using it after searching hi and low for a moisturizer for my relaxed hair. Had this in my cabinet and decided, what the heck. Use it day and before bed at night to wrap it in a scarf. I would be lying if I said my hair hated it. This stuff works. Hasn't been around for over 30 years for nothing November 16, 2013
My go to moisturizer!! My mom used this on my hair all the time when I was younger and now as a young adult, it's part of my daily regimen. I use it on the days when I don't wash my hair to keep it smooth and soft. I read a few reviews for this product. The reason why it would leave hair greasy and stiff is if you use too much!! You only need a small amount!! My hair is waist length and very thick. I part my hair in two sections and use about a DIME SIZE amount from roots to ends. August 29, 2013
A little goes a long way I love this stuff. This has been used on me since I was a kid. It was only used after cleansing and conditioning before blowdrying my hair. I also used a little to moisturize my hair for the day. This smells great. You don't need a lot at all because 1.the product is liquidy and 2. You don't want to be brushing all day. If you have been brushing this into your hair from one application for more than 4-5mins(It doesn't even take this long) then you are using too much. You only literally need a dime sized amount. This works well for curly, wavy or thicker hair. My brothers use this as well. It gives a great shine but can be greasy if ou use too much. November 21, 2012
