Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! Didn't kill my hair, lightened well, leave it on the whoooole reccomended time for allllll your hair (set timer after whole process is finished and maybe wait a biiiit more or else will be orange) August 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product! I went to a hair salon and spent $140 to have a 1" strip of virgin hair dyed purple. However, the strip was not even and the purple looked more blue than I wanted. I bought this product and decided to re-do the strip, along with my roots, by myself. This product is amazing. I love how no heat is required. I have medium brown hair, and using a 30 volume sensitive scalp product alongside this was enough to turn my hair so blonde that it was almost white! I also had NO damage what-so-ever. The purple took very easily afterwards. I had no copper patches, either. I highly recommend this product. July 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by ... As with any other bleach product don't use this if your hair is not healthy.I'm not trying to be negative in any way but I have done a lot with my hair for over 10 years including bleaching. This product bleaches VERY WELL.I usually get the akward spottiness and not an all over the same color. But not with this product.I got and all over color.I did get the orange color of course but you do with any bleach. My hair was very healthy before I bleached it and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the damage it did to my hair.I know it's bleach it damages your hair but I have been bleaching for a long time and have never ever had my hair fall out because of a bleach.Just beware :) May 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow My red hair finally turned blonde! I used this with the Salon Care 40V and I didn't have any nasty orange streaks and patches, which I have had from other brands. I've read a lot of complaints about it damaging hair... Well, it is BLEACH after all, and you can buy pre treatment products and products for sensitive scalps etc etc so I don't understand most of these complaints. My hair was very dry after bleaching it, which is NORMAL. I bought a good shampoo and conditioner, for my hair type, and haven't had any problems. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to do highlights or bleach their hair, BUT make sure you get the right developer for your hair. I knew needed a high volume, but not everyone does. I have black box-dyed hair and am wanting to go back to the original blonde. (I've been rinsing my hair with lemon juice in the shower which has lifted maybe 1/4 of the color, so it is faded.) I have thick curly hair - not sure if that is a factor. My hair has been colored 1-2 times (ish) before I dyed it black. I was planning on doing 2 of the Quick Blue packets and 1 developer, but not sure to do 30 or 40. Thanks for help. :)

I'm sure that you've already done it, but don't use bleach on dyed hair. I would definitely use a color remover like "Color Oops" to take out pre-existing hair color before bleaching, it will make for a smoother transition.

For my hair I used 30, my hair was originally dark brown and super thick and curly and I've box colored it black many times. Then I let it fade for a couple months and bleached it using 30 vol developer and it went to a really light yellow.

I'm unsure of when you asked this question, but it'd be best to see a professional for a corrective color. If you cannot afford that you need to get a color extractor first instead of using bleach. You could also try Quantum's Clarifying Shampoo as though it states it doesn't fade hair color it really does.

Always wait at least 24 hours after shampooing before bleaching hair. Your natural oils will help with protecting your hair and scalp from damage.

I have a short-medium hair. Can 1 oz. packet of the product bleach my whole head? I don't want to purchase the 16 oz. tub because I won't be bleaching my hair as often.

You might want to buy two 1 oz. packets to be on the safe side. 1 oz. should be enough but since I can't see your hair and the density you have I cannot be sure whether 1 oz. would be sufficient or not. It most likely would though.

Sallybeauty.com does not currently carry a 1 oz. packet of the product. You will need to follow the directions and use a test area to see how it fits your needs.

i think it depends if your hair is thick or not i have thick right above shoulder length hair and it took about 4 scoops from the tub to do my entire head so i think if you have thin hair maybe 1 or 2 packs if thicker maybe 4 packs

A:
Yes, if you don't use all of the product you can just store it for later use or if you plan on using it with a friend. Also, you should buy developer, a brush, and a mixing bowl. 30 vol. if you have up to medium brown hair, 40 vol. if your hair is so dark it's almost black.
