Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not reccomend I bought this comb, when heated up to 500 degree I could still hold it in the palm of my hand and not get burned.. It heats up to 500 degrees but does not get hot enough to straighten out natural hair. I took it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For relaxed hair It's worked great for my daughters relaxed hair. We use it between perms and the roots got straight. I think if you use the comb correctly than it works good. We did have to use the highest settings and half way through we had to let it reheat but the results were good, not great bc it doesn't get as hot as the stove one. I would advise two things in order to get good results . A. Make sure you have time to part the hair in small pieces. B. Make sure you use it correctly

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heat-Related Issues are Correct I didn't let this thing spend two hours in my home. I'm a Dad that does his daughters hair, and she's bi-racial. I agree with ALL reviews that this comb does not get hot enough at all. Set it @ 250 and the sunshine's warmer than this comb. So, I set it @ 350, then 400 and took pics with my cell with me holding it in the palm of my hand and NOT even being burned, and you guessed it, it didn't event straighten my daughters hair at all. Finally, I set it @ 500 max and it did get a little warmer, but was still able to hold it in my palm, and no, it still left my daughters hair wavy just like when I took the braids out of her hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!, I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this. I experienced all of the same problems as the other posts. This comb does not straighten kinky hair.

I liked mine but it didn't get hot enough so I cut the cord and use it on my stove. Works wonderfully. Just like the old fashioned ones that I lost and miss. Question though, is it made of Iron? Some of these new combs pull my hair out and are 2 light.
