Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 36 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing product that really works! I have medium brown hair that I have been dying red for awhile. The ends have gotten porous and they end up looking a brassier shade than the rest of my hair. I had heard about this and after the reviews I read, decided to give it a try. Not sure what I was expecting during application, but feeling like I was squirting water on my head was not quite it, but I left it on the 20 minutes before coloring hopefully optimistic. Wow!! If you have porous ends and want to make your color look gorgeous, definitely buy this now! I won't be coloring my hair without it from here on out. You can believe that. April 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMAZING After reading the reviews, I had hope that it would possibly work for my hair. I had been dying my hair teal/blue for 3 years, and decided I wanted to go strawberry blonde. I bleached out my hair because color remover products hadn't worked for me in the past. I had about 2 inches of light brown roots, and the remaining 6 inches after bleaching were still slightly blue. I had read online that if you use a dye with enough red in it, it would counteract the blue. This did not work. I ended up having strawberry/red blonde roots, and a strange blue purple color that you see at the end of a sno-cone for the rest of my hair. I figured I would give this a try after reading reviews, and giving my scalp time to heal. It worked so well! My hair is all now an even strawberry/copper blonde tone that I wanted. The stuff is pretty runny, so I wasn't a fan of that. After I applied it to my damp hair, I put a shower cap on my head for the 20 minutes it says to leave it in there and went about my life. Then I dyed my hair while still wet which wasn't awful, and I now seriously believe in this cheap miracle product! Also it didn't make my hair amazingly soft like some people have said, but it didn't make it feel any worse than it did and I can use other products to make my hair softer. December 15, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Want even color from root to tip? My hair had every color and bleach in it- bleach blonde highlights and my natural black in the back, even some grey and white at the root. I desired my hair to return to a level 8 with a natural tone. I knew I needed a protein filler for even application of my l'oreal box color. I followed the directions for the protein filler exactly- I was a little nervous b/c I had never used it before and was afraid to color with wet hair. It did make the l'oreal preference box color a little more runny. I wanted saturated fresh color, and WOW. Even color root to tip, great saturation. Will definitely use again. August 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I will never color without this!!! So I have been bleaching my hair for years (10 years at least) and I also love going purple, green, teal, all the fun ones, BUT usually it looks ok until it fades, then its uneven and looks GROSS. So usually I end up giving up on the fun colors after a week or so and go back to platinum. Also I never use a toner because the porous parts suck up the purple and I looks like an idiot. NOT ANYMORE! Used this for he first time last night. I put it in, set a time for 20 min, and then put purple over it. I was amazed! It was an even purple from my roots to my ends. The purple I used was too dark, so I washed it a few times, and even used dawn/baking soda to lift some of it out AND ITS STILL EVEN!!! I WILL NEVER EVER NOT USE THIS BEFORE COLOR. July 9, 2015
