My hair was so damaged and brittle after too much hair color change plus bleaching. I was looking for something to help my hair as I was trying to grow it. I found this at Sally's and tried it because there's nothing to lose. I got home and used it immediately. It took me around 30 mins from application to blow drying my hair with the product in it. I followed the directions to a T. While I was rinsing my hair, I already notice a difference. I then proceed with the application of the aphogee balance moisturizer, I left it on for 5 minutes, rinsed it out and applied a deep conditioner for 15 minutes. After all that, my hair was noticeably stronger and the ends seemed healthier and some of the split ends were gone (not that i missed them. lol.) I am so delighted that this product actually works. I didn't expect much from the start but I was amazed with the results. I combed my hair and there was no hair breakage. I will use this again in 6 weeks as recommended... Thanks Sally's and Aphogee!

To be honest I really wasn't expecting much from this product but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not a hair professional but even I could use it. I followed the instructions to the T and it worked amazingly . A++

So I recently went to the salon about two weeks ago and the lady left the bleach on my hair for WAY to long my hair is now badly damaged. After the incident I googled what to do my hair felt gummy and mushy and was falling out badly when it was wet and I was this close to just getting a bob cut my hair is long but I was devastated my hair is my life and I truly regret going to that salon to dye my hair. Well I bought this product since I read all the great reviews I must admit the product smells HORRIBLE but its a small price to pay..I shampooed my hair then applied the two step protein and blow dryed it for about an hour my hair got really hard and then I washed it out and used the moisturizer after. My hair feels much better now it's still breaking a bit but I wasnt expecting my hair to be perfect but it has helped my hair so much I feel so much better now! I will deffinetly be using it again in six weeks hopefully my hair will be healthy in no time!

I have very long, thin hair. My hair has recently been bleached, and ever since..I've been trying everything to restore it. I have a lot of breakage, and my hair is gummy and mushy when wet. I've read, and heard multiple things about how well this product works..and how well it takes away that gummy, stringy feeling. Which, is what I battle with the most!
I purchased the small packets from my local Sally's. My hair is well past my chest, so needless to say, one packet wasn't nearly enough. I saturated the bottom, and worked my way up to the top the best I could. This product is very runny, and sticky! Afterwards, I dried it with a normal hand blow dryer for about 25/30 minutes - until it was rock hard, and making a crunchy noise. I then rinsed as it said. My hair was still extremely mushy/gummy, and breaking off as I was rinsing it in the sink.
I used my heat-resistant spray, and then dried/styled like I normally do. It made my hair very rough, poofy, and thick-feeling. I had to deep condition twice.
I said I would recommend this to a friend, only because I did notice less shedding for about a week, but sadly enough - it came back. I still have the gummy/mushy feeling.
I am going to purchase this product again (the bigger bottle this time) so I can give it another go. I've read things from other customers, and some say you have to leave it on the head for an hour, or more. I'm thinking maybe I just didn't leave it on long enough, or have enough of the product saturated in my hair. I am really crossing my fingers that this time works!
Also, if you have a weak stomach, brace yourself - this stuff smells like vomit!
