Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality My natural hair color is either a dark brown. I bought a big tub of this because I frequently lighten my hair. EVERY single time I use this, it does not come out right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Amazing! I was buying packets of this stuff and had gone through six packets and still didn't have enough bleach. My hair is thick. Now I know just to buy the whole tub next time. Definitely worth the bucks though. I used a lilac toner on top and my hair is so pretty and not that damaged. It feels a little dry but considering I went from dark brown to a light blonde it's not bad. A hair mask could fix it. It is a must to buy a toner for this though. My hair was bright yellow when I was done bleaching it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I've been looking for! I have been going back and forth with what bleach to buy for my hair that I dyed silver (Artic fox sterling which quickly turned green) I did 2 baking soda treatments in my hair and then realized I need to bleach to really get rid of that murky color. I bought this and Ions 30 Vol developer and left it on for about 30 minutes and miracle!! Lifted my hair beautifully and was easy to tone over to a perfect shade!! Very happy with this product!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Strong powerful - good price for good quality . It has the blue effect to control warmth ... works well with Olaplex or pH Bonder

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet I've tried a couple other brands for bleach at Sallys but this one is by far my favorite. It doesn't give off such a harsh odor and the blue helps loft more of the brass when I go for my super light lifts.

Do I need a toner? I am planning on lightening my dark brown hair with this with 30 developer, and I am using wella color to achieve a strawberry reddish blond hair color. Why do I need toner, if so, and what are some recommendations?

Asked by: Alyssa97
I personally wouldn't see why you would need a toner. Generally people user toners when they want blonde but it's either like goldfish tinted our red tinted blonde they use the toner to correct that but if you're just lightning or to get it light enough for coloring you should be fine.

So i kinda want to dye my hair and take it back to blonde. Howecer my hair is like a meduim brown roght now. And i tried to use a box dye. N it lightened my roots to a blonde color and that was it. What products should i use to make my hair all blonde??

I had black hair when I first bleached it and my hair is hard to bleach but if you use the quick blue bleach powder with a 30 volume developer and just use it on small smmounts of hair with foil it will be easier to bleach than doing it on bigger pieces then once you have it bleached you can use a toner to get the brassyness out ...I hope this helped a little good luck with your hair journey !

Do you recommend using shampoo or lukewarm water to rinse afterwards? Package doesn't mention it at all.

Asked by: Lyna B007
I use lukewarm water and depending on my base hair color I use a gentle color saving shampoo. However when my base hair is red I don't use any shampoo with it because it will make my hair color fade. This product is a bit gritty so you can tell when it is rinsed out... Hope this helps! It is a great product!

Which is the best developer to use with this?

Asked by: NanaTrace
I just use Salon care sold at Sally's it's one of the cheaper ones. I've used both the cream and liquid both work just fine. although it says to use a cream developer. But the liquid developer it will be a little runnier looking then with the cream. I would also recommend going for a lower-level developer as it does process fairly quickly even with 20 volume . and I have fairly dark hair.

What volume developer do I need for this? I have dark brown hair.

Asked by: Jjrc0578
I personally would probably use 20 because it does process really quickly as it is for my hair anyways it's a lot easier to be able to work with and manage while doing all of your hair

How well does it lighten black hair?

Asked by: Buckeye75
This is the only hair bleach product I use it works so well on lifting natural hair color especially black hair! I've used other bleach but it doesn't work as well as this one. If you have black hair I recommend using a 30 to 40 vol developer
