Quick Blue High Performance Powder Lightener is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 117.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from This bleach sucks. Used it recently and even with a 40 vol developer my roots are a terrible yellow orange. And my toner is not doing much for it. Just avoid this bleach all together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super bleach This stuff won't disappoint you. I got my last tub of quick blue when it was on sale and doubled it with my 20% off coupon so this was an extremely great deal for the product you getting . Works very quickly. I would recommend to use only 20vol for first time users to see how your hair processes with it or if your someone who has long/thick hair that way ur able to actually get through your whole head of hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bleach. The container is huge and the bleach is in a Baggie so it's cleaner. The bleach works well, however unless you know what your doing I don't recommend buying it as it's very powerful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT PRODUCT & WORKS WELL. I use it about every 2 months to touch up the new growth on the crown and back of my head it does a great job. It takes me about 20 minutes. Then I leave it on for about five more minutes, with a small plastic bag, while I clean up and then rinse, shampoo 2x's. Then deep condition and rinse. Put a little bit of Argan oil all over and style or let air dry, but still damp and you can, crimp, curling iron or hot rollers and brush your hair unside down. Then gently flip it back and soft spray and style. It look natural and not forced to be a certain color. Just try it and you'll love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from go-to bleach! I buy this bleach each time I need to pre-lighten my hair for semi-permanent dye. The bleach works best if applied to the roots first before working through the ends of the hair. It works quickly and efficiently, even on hair that has been dyed over multiple times. It takes me about half an hour or more to saturate my entire head of hair with bleach, and the mixture stays fresh long enough for the process.

How well does it lighten black hair?

Asked by: Buckeye75
This is the only hair bleach product I use it works so well on lifting natural hair color especially black hair! I've used other bleach but it doesn't work as well as this one. If you have black hair I recommend using a 30 to 40 vol developer

do i use foil to wrap bleached highlites?

Asked by: jorja dee
I do. Some people still use the old fashioned process of pulling the hair through a cap, though.

First time bleaching hair myself! What volume should I get with this. and what's the best toner? My hair is so yellow after bleaching and apperently everyone says some purple shampoo. I want real toner.

Asked by: Hailey gyo
With the bleach use a 30 volume developer. Wait one week to bleach again, or more. After bleaching tone it. I used a Wella toner in lightest ash blonde. I have long hair so I bought two boxes of toner, and two packs of the Arddell red gold color corrector. (Maybe spelt that wrong!) Definitely use purple shampoo, I just use a cheap brand from Walmart. Deep condition after and don't leave the toner on too long, which is what I did resulting in silver hair. It did come out with lemon juice. I was going for platinum though. Make sure you work fast with everything you do! Good luck!

what is the ratio of dry bleach to 20 volume developer...... as in 1 ounce of the quick blue to 2 ounces of developer>

Asked by: Hephzibah
Yes, you are correct! It's 2:1 ratio, two filled scoops of developer 20 volume and one scoop of powder bleach. When you stir it completely it should be smooth not be like spackle. If it is to thick just add a drop or two of developer. Remember don't leave it on to long, 25 to 35 minutes (I picked this time because it takes me about this long to do my long thick hair) and short time if you have a sensitive scalp. You can also use ION Sensitive Scalp Developer . Good luck, I hope this helps!

Is the "L'Oreal Quick Blue Powder Lightener 1 oz." enough for short-medium hair?

I'm thinking of dying my dark hair to blonde. I have a short-medium hair. So can 1 oz. of the bleach enough for my whole head?
Asked by: HaSoo.Lee
No, your hair will absorb the bleach faster than you realize. Better to buy 2 and return 1 if it's not needed. Especially when you are stuck without in the middle of a bleaching process.

can i use this on dyed red to get to blonde?

I colored my hair red for 6 years, with last applacation being around 5 months ago and im ready to go back to blonde, however i cant afford salon prices. So will this make me blonde? Or atleast lift the dull red.
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes! I've been dying my hair alternating between red and dark brown for several years and this stuff stripped my hair to platinum at the roots and strawberry blonde at the ends. You're going to want to mix some red color corrector in but it's super easy.
