I normally use Motions relaxer but decided to try this product after reading the reviews. It does burn slightly and it took a long time to work. After I rinsed out the relaxer and applied the neutralizing shampoo my hair felt a little courser. I rinsed 3 times with the neutralizing shampoo so now my hair feels really rough. Maybe I am rinsing to much. My hair is straight but not as straight after using Motions but I prefer this product to the Motions.

First let me say I have not permed my hair in several months. My hair is thick but not too kinky and tangles easily. This is one of the first no-lye relaxers that actually did the job I expected. After using Dr. Miracle's my hair still had texture and body. It was soft and straight and full of life. There was almost no hair shedding at all which is not something I can say of relaxers I've used in the past. I believe I have found my new relaxer. The Relaxed Hair Potion feels great on my scalp after shampooing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MsSimplistic Defined my natural curls more than strraightened
First off, thank you Sally reviewers because I purchased this relaxer based on your reviews. I haven't used any chemicals on my hair for over three years because I was over the damage it caused, but I was ready to give it a try and have my hair restore faith in my decisions. I used the relaxer last night and it felt so good on my scalp, the smell was not as bad as people are making it and the neutralizing shampoo ensured I removed all the chemical from my hair. The leave in conditioner tantalized my scalp, tingling as it was applied and massaged in, never once did it burn or feel uncomfortable. I know I haven't used a relaxer in a long while, but I was under the impression it was suppose to straighten my hair, not define the natural curls I have. I must say it made me appreciate my curls more, eventhough my expectations were to see a straighter texture. I know everyone's hair is different, so maybe I'm meant to rock a more natural texture with my curls, who knows.
