Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Tough! The brush is of good quality material and construction. I'm sure it would hold up well. The bristles were simply too hard (tough) for my scalp. I'm sure this is a matter of taste, but for my taste - too tough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from hard and inflexible Not at all pleased with this. Its "bristles" are hard plastic and there is no rounded contour, so there are only a few bristles in contact with one's head. May work to distribute product, but there's no feeling of scalp massage at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat and effective little gadget I bought this on a lark, and have been pleasantly surprised with it. I will get another for my gym bag. I use scalp treatments, and I feel this helps me work these in better and more gently than with me scrubbing them into my scalp with my fingers. Since it's a rigid brush that is flat/straight, and your head is curved, 'roll' the brush over your scalp to help maximize the contact of the little fingers/nibs to your scalp. It's also great for distributing conditioning products through the hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for detangling in shower This brush detangles my natural hair like a dream without thinning or tearing my hair. The thick, widely spaced bristles help distribute my conditioner and allows my curls to clump beautifully. I love this brush!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LUV'N IT! Okay I just purchased 2 of these Scalp Massagers. They are Awesome! I can cover more scalp area more so than with my fingers. When I was massaging my scalp with my finger~tips, my fingers, hands and wrist would tire out quickly. Now that I have this product, I can do a complete ScalpMassage with out getting tired. I place the massager to my scalp, by section, apply a lil' pressure, massage in circular motion without moving my hair, just my scalp only. No tangles or broken hairs to report.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It snagged & ripped my hair I hate this item and wish it was feasible to return them (I stupidly bought two). It has ridges or a lip around the tip of each bristle and if I try and pull it through my hair those ridges/lips catch on my hair and rip it. If the bristles were smooth then this would be a great item but those ridges/lips on each bristle make it damaging to the hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great when shampooing This scalp massager is great, especially if you stimulate your scalp when shampooing. Added bonus. Protects your nails if you constantly get manicures. You won't be disappointed.

Are the brissels soft,and flexable

I am in need of a good scalp stimulator that will not pull my hair out.. Have an old flex brush that I bought years ago... Is starting to full apart.. Did a search and found this one... Most reviews on good.. However one did disturb me... Person said it ripped her hair out... Ouch... Have baby find thin hair and can't afford to lose any... Would appreciate hearing about how soft and flexible is this brush brush?

The "bristles" are hard plastic and do not move at all. The piece with the massage tips fits inside the piece with the handle. Where the two piece connect is where you have to watch and make sure your hair doesn't get caught. I use is for massaging oil into my scalp at the crown. I've tried using it to distribute shampoo and conditioner on wash day, but I'm always careful about the edges of the brush.
