Not what I expected I really and I mean really wanted to like this product. The Shea Moisture line is very good but this product just did not live up to it's claims and even worse did nothing for my hair. The product just sat on my hair and did not penetrate at all, I could not comb through my hair with it in and it left my hair feeling straw like. It's one of those products where people will either love it or absolutely hate it. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because it left my hair smelling great until my next co wash. So with that said I am still on the hunt for a good deep conditioner. I may give Eden Body Work's deep conditioner a try next time. February 19, 2014
Not all that great I am not to certain how it was supposed to work on my hair, I got it in the transition kit, but I have seen videos on persons who tried it so I thought I would give it a go. I used it as a treatment after using the moisture retention shampoo and it just sat on top of my hair. It didn't do anything. I am not sure if I should have used heat with it but, it did nothing to my hair without it. Because of that, I would not recommend it. August 25, 2013
Good leave in My 4 type hair loves this for a leave in, does do much as a deep treatment. light shea butter smell, light creamy formular. Works nice on a twist out. It does leave May 13, 2013
My HG I slept on this for a looong time because of the mixed reviews I would see. But I broke, and bought it on sale, and lo and behold my hair LOVES it!! Not so much as a DT without a little tweaking, but as a leave in and styler?!! YESSSSS!!! Gives great moisture and shine for me. Just an FYI for those who do try it and say it dries your hair out-it does contain sea kelp, and sea kelp IS a plant protein. If you are protein sensitive, this may not be for you! April 15, 2013
