silky I have loose 3c/4a hair. Upon initial application, I thought this leave-in was very watery/runny, but it actually felt very silky and gave great slip for combing. I wasn't ecstatic about the smell, it was just ok. It didn't make my curls start to "pop", though, like other moisturizing leave-ins I tried. I only bought this leave-in because I wanted it to go with the Silk Elements Curl Cream Gel that I had been eyeing lately. Big mistake! The gel did not mix well at all with this leave-in and left nasty white balls in my hair, hands, comb, etc. I had to rinse everything out and start over with my own DIY leave-in and a different setting product. I was so disappointed. The leave-in wasn't that bad by itself, but I don't think I'm going to try to use it again. I'm just afraid it won't mix with my other products either, and I really don't feel like that waste of money or products. So, I will be returning this and the so-called "gel" at my earliest convenience. March 28, 2015
great leave-in I have pretty coarse, dry, curly hair. I have tried countless leave-in conditioners, and I've learned that I have to use a cream versus a spray leave-in. First, this one smells amazing. It is a little runny, like another commenter said, but I actually like that about it because it doesn't feel like it weighs my hair down...it just gives it enough silkiness. I like to towel dry my hair and then use about a quarter size dollop and work it through my hair with a wide tooth comb. Then I create a low bun, and i wake up with silky (not frizzy!) waves. I love this stuff and will definitely repurchase! February 1, 2014
Not Impressed Again!!! This leave in conditioner was very thin and runny. I can fairly say that I didn't like this product line at all mainly because it did nothing for my hair. My texture is curly, wavy and this product just dried my hair out and made my scalp itch all day long. Be mindful this is after one use of the product. April 6, 2013
Life Saver When the mixed silk line was discontinued, I was devastated. Now, although this leave in is not exactly the same as the mixed silk one, it works for me just as well and it smells amazing. It is a wonderful leave in to use in between shampoos to help take tangles out and give your hair shine. It also works well to take tangles out after a shampoo/conditioning. I am ecstatic that they came out with this, because it is the best replacement I have found and I have tried around 10 other products and none came close. I have waist length 2c/3a/3b hair that loves to tangle. March 11, 2013
