HUGE IMPROVEMENT After using various Wahl clippers over the years for home use I was advised by a Barber friend to "UPGRADE" to an Andis and I couldn't be happier. Anyone still using Wahl needs to give any Andis product a try. Blades are very sharp and cut my thick hair extremely well. Also very quiet and stays cool for a lot longer than previous clippers. I plan to buy an Andis trimmer for lining up as well. October 2, 2011
Risky Buy After using this clipper a few times, I found a couple of flaws that were quite noticeable...The first flaw is actually the ceramic blade itself. It does make for a smoother cut, however this only applies if you are cutting with the grain of the hair...If you cut against the grain(the opposite direction of the hair pattern) the blades actually snags onto the hair as you cut...Other flaw is the attachment combs...Comb teeth are pretty wide. which means this can create patches in the hair while cutting. Combs are also flimsy. No hardness to them. A Few Pros: Very Lightweight, Quiet Motor, and it does stay cooler longer!! Would recommend for home use only. Otherwise, too many cons to purchase for buiseness. February 24, 2010
