CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT !!!!!This product is the ONLY one that gives my hair the capability of styling my hair However I want to !!!!!! My hair is thin at the top, and the cement makes it look full!

Not great on dry hairBought this on recommendation of a Sally's associate who uses it to style her damp hair. Instructions also state: "apply with fingers to small strands of dry hair". I've tried that three different times and although it does initially lift my hair - it droops after about 30 minutes, no matter how much (or little) 'hair cement' I apply.

Used to be SOOOO good! This used to be the best spiking gel on the market in my opinion. I'm not sure what happened, but now it's watered down and just isn't the same stuff. I've called and written Beyond the Zone to ask what happened and was given a song and dance that they don't know what happened and that something is wrong with the machines that make it. Hahahaha! I think the manufacturers are just cheap and watered it down. I'm so sad about the poor quality of this product. I used to be such a huge fan. Bring back the old stuff/formula!!!

Shiny TextureBest Shine product that I have!! But remember it is a gel- you can overdo it. When I need my hair to shine for certain I use this! I blow dry my fine short hair first, then iron, then style with the Spike It. Incredible shine and hold. Start off with a little bit and massage it,, Add more if needed--- it will be stiff if use too much. However, your hair will be shiny and set- you do not need to look in a mirror all day.. Love this stuff, can use over volumizing mouse, or stand alone. If you need to rejuvenate, simply rack damp fingers through hair and let air dry-- very versatile product for all your needs.

Looking for adviceI have been tasked with creating a mo/faux hawk on my son who has super curly hair. I purchased the Beyond Zone Demented pomade last night, but the hair would not stand up. I would say his hair is about 4-5" in length when stretched out. Those of you that have used this, do you think it would help with the super curly hair or is it a lost cause? (This if for a part in a play he's in).

Spike It Cement gives spike all day holdI have very thin-fine hair and it is difficult to find hair styling products that will actually do what they say they will do with my hair. Beyond the Zone Spike It Cement actually works to spike my thin-fine hair and my spikes last all day. It works so well that all I need to do the following day is dampen my hair and pull my spikes back out.
After I spike my hair I always spritz it with GP Fast Drying Sculpting Spray, which I also buy here at Sallys. I've been using the Fast drying Sculpting Spray exclusively for hairspray/sculpting spray for the past 3 years.
I also picked up a jar of Rock On Matte Clay here at Sallys. All 3 of these products give my short spiky do the look I am going for. Why go elsewhere when Sallys has it all. The prices are very reasonable.

Great for WigsI used this to style spikes on a cosplay wig, which was made of synthetic hair. At first, I was a bit skeptical, as the spikes range from 1 to 6 inches in length and most hair gels I've used won't hold spikes that big. However, I figured that if anything could get the job done, this was it, and it definitely got the job done very well! Of course, the larger spikes required some teasing in order to get them to stand up on the base, but the hold is great! I was even able to get the spikes at the right angle. The only downside is that the cement is a bit sticky, but that is to be expected.

Awesome SpikesI bought this product for my two sons who love the"Jersey" spiked up do's. We have used many other products only to be disapointed that their hold didn't last long. But they love this product and have used only this since. I do wish it came in a larger tube, but I would definantly recommend it. You won't be disapointed.
Where can I find the GHS version of the Safety Data Sheets for the Beyond the Zone Pro Formula spike it hair cement products?

Does anyone have a trick to get this totally out of your hair?
This product is great! But, I cannot get this product out of my hair fully...ever. I have short hair (3-4") , not thick, that I spike every day. The longest part is 5" at the back of the top of my head. I don't use hairspray! As soon as I come home each day, I use a clarifyer 2-3 times, them my TIGI shampoo and conditioner, or I use TIGI shampoo and a leave in oil, thinking it will coat each hair strand and whisk away the cement overnight, thinking my hair will feel normal in the shower in the morning. I use no more than the size of 2 peas.
PLEASE HELP-I don't want to damage my hair but I love this stuff because it works!!

Hello and thank you for your question! The Oil may be holding the product in the hair….or the over clarifying. Clarifying should only be done weekly or monthly, but not daily. Without natural oils the hair will be effected. Adding oil back in does not have the same impact as the natural oils found in your hair.
Try using a daily moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, leaving each on when you shower a couple minutes each, only clarify once a week at first. Sometimes it takes hair a little while to adjust to a new routine.

Will this dry your hair out if you don't rinse it out at the end of the day? Or could I leave it in without it ruining my hair. Thanks!
