Beyond The Zone Retro Vinyl Working Paste
NOT FOR ME
I am a black woman with medium-grade hair. When I don't use a relaxer, I press my hair with a hot comb. This product definitely is not for me. I wanted it to hold down my edges in the front of my hair to about the middle of the top of my head. IT DID NOT DO THE JOB! I didn't like the way it may my hair feel, and it stays in until you wash it out. I was so disappointed with the product, I just went ahead and put a relaxer in my hair so I wouldn't haven't to worry about my edges curling up. I would not recommend this for black women with natural hair.

This stuff is awesome!
I bought this on recommendation from a Sally's employee. Thankfully she pointed out how little of it to use at a time! You just press out a tiny dab on fingertips. Then rub them together and style your hair however you want it. If you need more, just get a bit more. As long as you don't use too much, you'll have enough hold without all the weight and gunk. I love the scent of it too! Perfect for my pixie cut!
If it feels gross or heavy on your hair...you used TOO MUCH!

Retro Vinyl Working paste
Terrific holding and shaping. Hair is in place all day. Neat. Never have to worry about constant fiddling with hair. As with any cream, wash your hands after applying. However, after a second of warm water, hands are not sticky and instantly clean. Only one time did I have a problem with a container. This is bound to happen with any mass produced product. But, it's the contents of hair paste that is amazing. I have used many hair care products. This is the best! I'll never use another product. It only takes a dab of paste depending on what effect you want. But for more sticking power, just use more.

This stuff is hard to push out of the pump. Only a tiny drop comes out. It's very thick and made my hair feel like I had tar in it all day. At the end of the day I ran my finger through the hair and it became white and flaky. I will give this away.
