Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use the spray first Love this product!! Exfoliate.shave. Apply lotion to knees, elbows, feet and hands so it's not as dark in those areas. I recommend the spray first then to maintain with this product(the lotion)This lotion won't give you the first intitaial dark beach glow tan. Takes a couple applications. So use the spray before you go to bed .Shower then use this the next day and looks Great. I've also used this lotion on my face mixed with my face lotion and it works wonders!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected..... I thought this would be more like their sunless tanning lotion, but it does not provide much of a tan. It makes your skin soft and a bit tinted, so may be better using after you get the desired tan color you would like to preserve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best. Ever! Stop. Do NOT buy another self tanning product after using this one. You won't have to or want to. This. Is. The. BEST. Period. Seriously-I am a former sunworshipper who now has tried every single self tanning product under the sun and this tops'em all. Trust me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Coverage I have tried other sunless tanners that could be bought at your local Target or Walmart. Different products, same results. Blotchiness, streaks, orangish color results. This product, "TANWISE" has been a pleasant surprise! The color is natural looking, even on my very fair skin. This product is quite thick. So in order to have proper coverage, allow yourself time to really work the product evenly on your skin. I would have given 5 stars, but, the smell is not my favorite. It does not smell bad, like other sunless tanning lotions are known for making your skin smell. Instead, it has a pungent cheap cherry scent. Almost reminiscent of CHERRY CHAPSTICK. It's that sweet smelling. Never fear, the scent doesn't remain long.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay for gradual tanning One application only tints the skin slightly so you need a lot of applications to reach any depth of tan. It is a good shade, though, not orangey at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My fav tanning lotion I bought this creamy tanning lotion about a month ago and it's been really great! Ive tried many different lotions/foams etc and this is my fav type. If I had to compare it to another similar product I've used I'd say it's comparable to L'Oréal sublime bronze tanning lotion. I think this is better than that because of the texture.. I prefer the lotion-like application over the smooth almost oil based tanning products. Like any tanning products you have to be careful of over-application and problem areas like in between fingers and ankles. Overall a great buy for the price and quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color This is definitely a must have. I highly recommend this in your make-up case. I have tried thousands of tanning self tanners being a tanning salon owner for over 20 years now and if it's on the market i have tried it. What makes this so great is the color is perfect. Must wash hands right after applying. It leaves your skin silky smooth and after just 1 application you can see the color. Excellent Tanner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Was very hesitant to purchase another tanning lotion because they always streak or just don't work well for me, but I heard good about this lotion, so I decided to buy it. The price isn't bad at all! I used it once and I woke up with an even light tan. You have to apply several coats before you get a noticeable fan with any lotion, so it was to be expected. I have been applying it every night before bed and I wake up darker each day. Be sure you wash your hands after so your hands don't turn very golden then apply some lotion to the top of your hands or else they won't match your arms. The tan isn't orange. it's more less golden- very pretty! I applied the lotion to my face too and it worked fine so I don't believe buying the face gel and other products will matter, just the lotion.

Unfortunatly, the scent is the only reason I didnt give fives stars. It has a very potent sweet cherry scent.

Tanwise vs Banana Boat

I've been using Banana Boat Deep Dark Color self-tanner for years, & so far it's the best I've found (& reasonably priced). I'm wondering how Tanwise compares in terms of color & duration. I'd be willing to spend the additional amount if color & duration justify it. I've also read good reviews of Tan Physics. . .any comparisons on that? Other Sally products I've used have been as good or better than name brands, & I'm wondering if that is true of the self-tanners.
