- Tourmaline Ceramic Plates
- Variable temperature control
- Fast heat up with no heat loss
The Jilbere Tourmaline Series Flat Iron features a floating plate design that guarantees 100% contact across the entire hair section with no gap between the plates. Hair is left straight, smooth and shiny with static electricity is transferred. A Mica ceramic heater provides thermal shock resistance for steady maximum temperatures with fast heat recovery.
Even heat reaches temperatures up to 448°F. The ceramic plates are infused with commerical grade Tourmaline which offers high gemstone hardness for a smoother plate surface with decreased friction.
Tourmaline, when heated, produces a completely balanced ionic charge to eliminate all static electricity. The negative ions generated by the iron close the hair cuticle creating smooth, shiny hair while far infrared heat penetrates the hair from within, for gentler styling and healthier hair.
Professional features include 40 heat settings, power indicator light, swivel power cord.
Set temperature based on hair type. Place Jilbere Tourmaline Tools Flat Iron on a heat resistant surface when allowing to heat and when in use. Allow to cool completely before storing.
Slowly pass the Jilbere Tourmaline Tools Flat Iron through the hair strand. The average number of passes it takes to straighten hair using 1" partings differs on hair type. For fine to normal hair, use 1-2 passes. For more resistant hair, use 3-4 passes.
For more maximum movement, continue holding the hair at a 90' angle throughout the ironing process.

Jilbere Tourmaline Flat Iron I received this Flat Iron as a present from a friend. I have had the 1" straightener for about a year and I very much like it. It is the best one I have had. My hair is a little below shoulder length but very thick and slightly course but it only takes me thirty minutes to straighten it. February 7, 2014
6 YEARS OLD AND GOING STRONG (KNOCK ON WOOD! LOL) Got mine as my "ONLY" X-mas present in 2007 from my mom mainly because of the HIGH price tag of $180 for the 2 inch then. Use almost everyday by me on highest setting of 40 (my hair is frizzy) and my teen age daughters on a setting of like 20 (there hair is straight but with a little bend). On the 40 setting it smokes my frizzies right away. My hair get too HOT to touch but I know it works and NO DAMGE at all even at that high heat. I live in the Central Florida area and it gets HOT here especially in the summer. Helps with the humidity too. LOVE LOVE IT! Glad the price came down incase I have to ever replace it November 16, 2013
Shockingly Amazing I purchased this product in December of 2008. I have ridiculously curly, and thick hair. It cut my straightening time in half. It use to take me about an hour to do every inch of my hair, and since I bought this flat iron, it took me about 20 minutes. Best purchase for hair care I have ever made. I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone. I am looking to purchase a new one, for the simple fact my son threw it down the steps, and it won't heat up anymore. After four years, it still maintained its heat! November 7, 2012
not impressed i bought this too because i have short hair. It straightens my hair but leaves it smelling a bit burnt. My hair isn't thick and i have to go ever it a few times. September 6, 2012
