Rated 5 out of 5 by from FABULOUS !!!!!!!!!! WELLA, WELLA, WELLA Where have you been all my life? I’ve been bleaching my hair (Marilyn blonde) since 1967. Clearly, no hairdresser in SW Florida has a clue. With the Color Charm Powder Lightener and 20 volume cream developer – my long hair is gorgeous. And, when I say gorgeous I mean perfect color, thick and shiny. With these products there is no pain, no sores, no bald spots, no toner, no special shampoo and most importantly, my hair is in better condition AFTER bleaching than before. Let’s just say the whole process was “idiot-proof.” Just follow the instructions. Oh yeah, no smell either. All the other brands should just pack-it-up and call it quits. Love you WELLA Color Charm!!! Please don’t discontinue and don’t change a thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coverage! I applied with bowl and brush, and got great even coverage, killed all brassy tones and gave me a nice steely grey. FYI it takes weeks to reach you when ordering online so order in advance!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Excellent Wella product and use this monthly, however I would go with the larger 32 oz bottle. Does not fry hair. Hair is in excellent shape now and saves me money. Use exactly as stated in directions 1:2 ratio. A+++

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great This did exactly what it said it would. Happy with the results. The Wella brand is excellent. We used it 1:2 as the directions state and have used it multiple months. Does not fry hair. Hair is in excellent shape now. A+++

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Go to a professional! I took advice from a young lady on line to highlight my hair. Bad Idea! The color charm cream and color turned my hair orange and shrunk the hair follicles on my scalp. If you must buy this product talk to a professional first or go to a professional to get it done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Product Ever! I have been using this developer for several years and I haven't found anything better. It's very easy to use. I prefer mixing my own hair color to get the exact color I want.

Can you use the Color Charm developer with the Color Tango color? Since they are both Wella? Or no? Thanks!

Asked by: Ranae311
Any 20 volume peroxide. I like the cream peroxide (developer) - it doesn't run.

which delveloper should I use with wella toner T18

Asked by: aussee65
It depends, how is the hair shaft and has been treated previously, if so - with what?  As a naturally dark blonde person, with color treatment including many many processes in my past history - Wella Volume 20 Cream Developer is best for me!

do you have to use wellas developer for toner to work?

Asked by: sourpatchlemon
If you are using wella Toners it would be ideal but not nessesary . I am sure you can use another brand . Toner does need developer .

I have dark brown hair and brought black wella color. Do i still need developer if i'm trying to go darker?

Asked by: Mariahco
Yes. Color needs developer to activate. Although, I would suggest not using black . Try a darker brown by mixing the black and a brown. You can always go darker. And, never recolor your ends unless they are faded and always dilute the color with a bit of shampoo and water.

Is this the right developer to use with color charm lightening powder (1:2)? The web says to use the 20 volume cream developer with the liquid hair color and doesn't mention that this is correct developer for the powder.

Asked by: gigigirl47
Yes, use the Color Charm developer. It's always best to use the same brand together as a rule of thumb.

I have 3.6 oz of color charm 20 volume cream developer and 2oz of lot charm permanent gel hair color that says 1:2 ratio. How much color gel should I add to the 3.6 oz cram developer?

Asked by: Judy60in
I don't think .4ozs will make a difference in the result. Just remember 1 part color to 2 part developer. You're short developer, but I think you will be ok.
