Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is Embarrassing.. Terrible Product PLEASE BEWARE.. It's quite possible it will turn your hair a strange army green/brown color which is horrible. I am completely at a loss and will never use this product of shop at sally's again. I'm so done!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I used this recently with the Wella Tango developer and it left my hair a mess. My hair was a pale blonde and it became a strange brown color defiantly not grey. Would not purchase again

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color isn't right. My hair is nice and shiny, but the color is off. I chose a bright red (Cabernet) and my hair is now brownish red. My hair was already red and it made it less red.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give it no stars I would I bought this a month ago. Did my sisters hair. It fade out in less then 2 weeks. The day after it started going good orange. I wouldn't recommend this color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Icy blonde basically bleach I started a light yellow blonde and wanted to go icy blonde so I could do some fashion colors. I thought this was a dye not bleach. If I would have known, I would've just bought a packet which was cheaper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color Does not keep the gray away long enough. I have to do root touch ups every 10-14 days

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Swamp Monster Green... I purchased the IC color to get my already bleached/toned white hair more of a silver color. Followed the directions and ended up with green hair - like a swamp monster. I was not happy. I had it fixed and went back to a golden blonde - a year later I decided to give the color another shot. I figured I would just have my hair bleached and not tone it so that the brassy color my hair pulls would hopefully counteract the green. This time I also decided to wash it out after only 5 minutes just in case. Thank god I did! It was trying to turn green again! This time the green wasn't so bad and using some red depositing shampoo has helped pull almost all the green out so that it's more of an dark ashy blonde with some blue/green hints in certain lighting. I will never attempt the IC shade again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Tango Bourbon Decided to go from level 12 blonde to brown. This is the perfect shade, used with a brown filler, to go back to my roots. No smell, easy application, no unhappy surprises. Did exactly what I wanted.

What is meant by the letter after the shade (example 9B, or 8C)

Asked by: lisafila
the letter notates the tonal base color. For instance, the shade 9B is a level 9 blonde with a Brown base, which is a neutral base. 8C is level 8 blonde with cool tones, blue or violet. This color is good eliminating any unwanted brassy tones.

If I normally use Aryana oil hair color 9G very light blonde (one. N only) hair color and I decided I wanted to try color tango 10NN butter blonde (wella) both being permanent colors would the butter blonde be darker or lighter then the very light blonde?

Asked by: Breean24
The 10NN would be lighter then the 9G but they are different shades of blonde meaning the G stands for gold so the 9G will be a much more golden blonde and the NN is grey coverage neutral so if you have outgrown roots they could be different color then rest of hair even if you cover the entire head roots to ends

I have golden blonde hair and desperately want plum hair. Would using the 3v deep plum be too dark? And what volume developer should I use? I want an intense violet look.

Asked by: Tmeade1098
Add some age beautiful clear with the deep plum and it won't be to dark

The front is white. Back is medium brown + 1/5 white. White is very color resistant. Ideally, I'd like front white to be light blonde so roots won't show as much and back white to be blonde like highlghts on a dark blonde. I have no clue. ?

Asked by: ann12als
I would use a level 7 dark blonde color with 20 volume developer this will break the cuticle of the white hair apply it all over roots to ends process 30 to 45 min the white areas should be a lighter blond and the pigmented hair will grab darker if you would want it to be a more even tone though out apply the white area first and leave on about 15 minutes longer

I used 1 half pomegranite 6RR & 1 half 7RG copper + 30 vol Dev. + ion booster. It came out too red orange or orange I used wella tango color. If I use 1 half 6R auburn with 1 half 7RG will it come out as orange or will it be more toned down. Wt 30vol

Asked by: Bubbly B
I never use anything over 10 vol dev. when using red colors. Might want to try that.

I have never used this hair dye before. I'm interested in the plum color. Will it work if I use it over dyed auburn hair? Should I use 30 or 20 developer?

Asked by: Dbloodworthy
I used it with a 10 volume developer over fuschia/burgundy dyed hair and it worked fine for me. It's definitely dark, so it should work over any color I believe.

I haven't used tango color previously-are they true to color? Do they fade quickly? How do they work on grey hair?

Asked by: Leila ann
I am a 52 year old man. I called Wella because the color charm...light brown I had been using was making my hair red. The Wella CS rep suggested the Tango line...6C Almond. It is a light brown shade. I like it...mainly because it does not turn my hair red. It does cover grey until the new growth appears.
