Wella Color Charm Permanent Gel Haircolor provides excellent gray coverage and colors even the most resistant hair. Long lasting, brilliant color results. Very predictable, the color you want is always the color you get.

A very economical 1:2 mix ratio. Each tube makes 6 oz. of haircolor which is enough color for long, thick hair. Up to two retouch applications in each tube and up to 50% more color than its closest competitor.
Use color Charm Creme Developer for bowl & brush and foil techniques. Use Color Charm Clear Developer with an applicator bottle.
All Wella Color Charm Permanent Haircolor shades are intermixable. They can be used on permanent waved hair; however, apply the color 2 weeks after the chemical service.

Use of a creme developer with Beach Blondes High-Lift shades are recommended when creating highlights with foils.

Love the color I bought 8G and 8RG to mix after it was recommended by someone else. I love it, made a great strawberry blonde color for me and covered my grey hair which was my main concern. The smell is very strong and it burned a little at first but that didn't last long. Overall I really like the gel coloring. I purchased it twice already to have some for touching up the roots, I plan to buy more in the near future. November 26, 2014
Wella Color Charm Gel First of all, I am not a hairdresser, but I color my own hair with variable results. Before I used Wella, I used Clairol root touch-up. My problem was that I didn't get full coverage and my hair looked faded. Then, I started using Wella. The coverage was excellent and the color deep if one dimensional. Finding the right color was tricky. I did a lot of trial and error. Every color seemed to turn my hair red. Since the results of color on my hair did not match the hair samples, I tried a lot of different colors to get the color I was looking for. I still haven't completely achieved this, but I'm getting closer. I found that because I had to color every two weeks, I needed to decrease the developer to 15 by mixing 10 and 20. This was much less harsh. I couldn't find Wella 10 developer, but I used another brand. I mixed this in 3 to 2 proportion to color. To get a more natural look, I highlighted using the same mix with shades that were complementary. This didn't result in a striped hi-lighted look but a more natural multi-dimensional color. I'm still experimenting, but I like the look a lot. August 22, 2014
Faded fast I waited and entire week to wash my hair the first time, and it went from the perfect red-blonde to ORANGE. I use color-protectant shampoo and conditioner, and the suds were pink. I have ION purple (punk color), and I am going to mix in a small amount in my conditioner as a toner. Hopefully that will work to help this color last. However, I am worried what it will look like over time. It's a real bummer because the color I achieved right after processing was *perfect*. July 18, 2014
Awesome product! I have recently stopped using box color, and wanted to find something that would cover gray hairs and be gentle to my hair. I used Black Cherry, and I was very impressed with the results! I used a 20 volume processor-my hair is already a dark brown, and mixed it up in a bowl with a tube of color.. The gel was really easy to apply, and it wasn't as messy as other products I have used. The color was vivid, and I am very happy with the results. I have long, thick wavy hair that is just past the middle of my back. I used one 2 oz. tube of black cherry, and one 4oz. bottle of 20 volume, and it was more than enough to cover all of my hair! My hair feels much healthier, and the color is very pretty. It covered all my little gray hairs. Would definitely use again! April 22, 2014

Going lighter

I have just recently gotten my dark hair highlighted to a warmer blonde. I want to go lighter. I'm thinking of using the prism lights lightener and bleaching it and then using one of these permanent hair colours over top. Like the Nordic blonde and then mixing the t18 toner with the 20developer. Does this work? I've never done this before. Not sure if that is the right process or not. Please let me know. Thank u!

Up till now I've been using Wella demi-permanent hair color, 3N-3/0 (darn brown.) I want to keep the same color - should I use 311/3N Dark Brown? Also, how long does the permanent color last for compared to the demi-permanent?
