Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed!! I am so happy I bought this. It is exactly what I was looking for. I was unable to get my toe nail polish off in a reasonable amount of time with regular drug store polish remover. This does the trick! So quick and easy, I was so happy with how quickly I could redo my nails with the help of this product!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Nail Polish Remover It does what I need it to do and that is taking off all of my many coats of nail polish. However, it is drying just like any other acetone remover is but what I do is use one of my cheap cuticle oils. I brush the oil around my nails and underneath not on top of them. For me it makes it less drying on my skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Price Tried some of the new gel nailpolish, only to find out that regular nailpolish remover won't budge it. Purchased this, it worked like a charm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Water! This product is really great! but i find it more effective if you pour the product in a glass bowl and let it sit in hot water. it will activate the product and your acrylic nails will come off alot faster. it took me all about maby an hour to take all of them off completley. if your nails are really long or grown out, cut them down as short as possible. that way, the product has less acrylic to take off. it will smell a little bit, but no more than if you were at a salon.

Is this used to remove gel nails?

Asked by: Linda Johnson
Professional Nail Tech here - it will dissolve ACRYLIC nails (powder and monomer liquid that hardens once combined, without a lamp), but it will not dissolve GEL nails (goopy gel that has to cure in a lamp). GEL nails must be filed off.

I spilled some red nail polish in the carpet quite a while ago, does anyone know if pure acetone will help to get it up out of the carpet?

Asked by: spphrprncss22
No, unfortunately for you, acetone does not remove nail polish from carpet, especially since the stain is red polish and old. It has completely soaked the carpet fibers at this point and if you try the acetone, it will only wet the surface fibers and smear the color. Your best option is to cut out that square of carpet and replace, put carpet glue on the edges of the replacement piece and glue those edges into the edges of the square you cut to hold the replacement and keep it from lifting, etc.
