Great for the price point... hard to put together
So far so good. Looks good. Space efficient. Not super easy to put together. Had to get my husband to help who is very competent with these things and it took him hours. (I put together furniture all the time with no problems). And I don't like that the keyboard drawer doesn't slide out (we will have to retro fit a keyboard slide). All in all I am glad we got it-- and it was the best option we could find at this price point. I would buy it again for sure.

Once was taller and well worth it
I bought it 2yrs ago and it's a completely different desk. Once was taller and bulkier to justify the price. Now it looks like an Ikea desk. Definitely not worth the money.
Don't waste the money on this desk, get something else.

Great piece of furniture but...
The instructions are not the best. If you've put a few pieces of furniture together the instructions will make some what sense to you. If you're not to savy on furniture building then be prepared for a long build. Once together it looks nice and modern. So far so good.

what kind of material is it made of
It is laminated wood. The panels are probably a pressed wood and resin composite which are then covered in a black semi gloss laminate made of some kind of plastic or acrylic sheeting.
