The hair is long but extremely thin and poor quality hair. Not to mention a lot lighter than what’s shown in the picture ..

Elite mannequin is really nice.
This mannequin came with very long hair, in good condition, all one length, pretty thick. I was very pleased. It was very hard to brush at first with lots of snagging and lost about 15% of the hair during the initial brushing. I gave the hair a good shampoo and treatment which made it soft, smooth and super manageable. It colored well, but didnt lift as well as a client's hair making me feel it has a bit of synthetic hair in it, too. Overall I am very pleased with this mannequin, the price and the fast delivery.

Not worth it.
I was so excited when I purchased it and came in a week, I bought this to practice on Balayage techniques believed that it had 100% real human hair and safe for coloring. I lightened it for 50 mins with 30 vol., it wasn't light enough so put 30 more mins., it didn't react as a normal hair, I used good conditioner and it didn't save the hair from damage. To pay that much money and get what you aren't expecting is not fair. This mannequin head is not for practicing color as what is saying on the description.

The Elite Manikin head was just what I wanted. It has great quality, thick hair. The length is perfect for practicing up-do's, braids etc.

I purchased the Elite Manikin for my daughter who loves to style hair. Wow, the hair is gorgeous ...great color and texture! The manikin has a pretty face too. I wish I could share a photo :)

GREAT FOR STATE BOARD EXAM
I purchased ths manikin head for my state board exam.....and i loved it the hair was easy to style and made everything so easy on my exam.....

No this did not come with a stand. Several options are available separately.

Does it come with supplies like brush,etc.....
No. I was disappointed the hair is stragely and not as long as would like. By time you cut it to even it up it won't be very long.

Can this manikin hair be washed and does is shed or break easily?
Yes it can be washed and conditioned, which I recommend doing before brushing for the first time as it was very snarly and about 15% of the hair came out. Almost no hair has come out since conditioning and it is very manageable and soft.

Yes, it is human hair so it will NOT burn. Synthetic hair WILL BURN.
