Rated 5 out of 5 by from This wax is much better for sensitive skin than any other wax I've used. Even when I worked as an esthetician, I loved using azulene wax bc I felt it was better on the skin. I will continue to buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing wax for sensitive skin I have had sensitive skin for many years, and recently have developed a sensitivity to traditional waxes made from pine/tree products. I would visit traditional salons and end up with very red, inflamed, itchy skin in my brazilian area that was just a nightmare to deal with. I narrowed it down to the Rosin/Glyceryl rosinate that is in most waxes that was causing my reactions. I picked this up because it has neither rosin nor glyceryl rosinate. I now do my own brazilians at home and this stuff works very well on my coarse hair. Of course there is the odd hair left behind due to me being in weird positions to rip the strip off, and I find that the hairs that do not come off with this wax are incredibly stubborn hairs that I even have to yank out with tweezers. Of all the waxes I've tried this is the best for my hair. I don't get a reaction, I don't have any inflammation aside from post-epilatory redness and pain, and I am not left with itchy skin. This is a SOFT WAX that requires a STRIP. I've seen comments of people waiting for it to harden, but this is NOT a hard wax. This wax is also very easy to clean off hard surfaces if you use baby oil (that's also how you get this stuff off your skin after your wax).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best wax I have ever used! Not sure why others were waiting for this wax to harden after applying to try and remove. I heated the wax in my wax pot machine. Then spread on (leg) in direction of hair growth with a big 1" wide popsicle stick. Then applied a cotton strip, rubbed to secure to the wax and then pulled off in opposite direction. Voila!! all the wax and hair came off and left my leg nice and smooth. Continued same process on rest of my leg and other leg. Just love the ease of using this wax!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is hard wax and is good for those with sensitive skin. Great for course hair like bikini area. Applies smoothly and really grips hair. Doesn’t attach to skin if applied correctly. This is definitely for professional use only, unless you are familiar/comfortable with wax application. This a good wax for all over the body

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this wax, removes even short hairs! Would recommend! I have tried [brand:gigi] all purpose honey as well but liked this wax better. Painless full body wax experience!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this wax! It gives me the best results compared to other wax types. Leaves my legs completely hair free, and doesn’t require as much wax for good results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Are you kidding me I bought this thinking it was going to be quick and easy, BUT I WAS WRONG. I heated up the wax and followed all the directions. I applied it using a popsicle stick and waited . It said to wait 30 seconds so I did. And it didn’t harden so I waited a few minutes. It didn’t harden. I had to leave soon so I had to wear pajamas in public to hide the wax (FYI the wax got stuck to my pajamas so thanks now they’re ruined). Before I left I tried to wash it off but it didn’t come off even after I used my loofah (which is also now ruined as well) and my exfoliator. Then used some lotion thinking it might help get off. Anyways 5 hours later I’ve come back home and it’s still not dry. I had to yank my hair off one by one to the point that my fingers are red. I spent half an hour in the shower using everything I could and well my body hair is gone but it’s still sticky. This is literally the worst wax I’ve ever used and I’ve used cheaper waxes. Thanks for the $18 I won’t get back ! Also I spent over $25 and they didn’t give me that $5 off so I don’t even know guys...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor aftermath I went to a fellow cosmetic student who was doing eyebrow waxing the outcome was beautiful although the after care burnt my skin and make me have a treturous allergic reaction including redness and bumps

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Azulene wax It sucked. Trying to get mt armpit hair with it was horrible. My skin almost ripped. I would not be re-purchasing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It’s good It’s a good product and it is easy to apply and take off as well. The smell is a little strong but not too bad. Not sticky and isn’t very stringy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go and buy this if you have sensative skin, I use this wax for my face and omg it works amazing and it doesn’t hurt at all and doesn’t leave any sticky wax residue behind, I will be repurchasing this one for sure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent but gentle strip wax I love this wax so much. Gigi Azulene wax gets both the stubborn coarse hair and fine hair yet so gentle to the most sensitive skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK, not great I know with these waxes it's different for everyone but personally, I was not thrilled with this stuff. I've tried All purpose Honee and Brazillian Hard wax with good results but bought this since it was supposed to do well with sensitive skin. It didn't work nearly so well as the Honee, lots of hair was left behind. It was also stickier. I give it a three because it did still work much better than any microwave kit I've every tried, but just not as good I expect from Gigi products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Fine Hair This product is great for fine hair. I've been waxing for a long time, and my hair has become finer. This product is gentler than other waxes; it doesn't hurt as much and pulls out the fine hairs. However, it is not very good for coarse and thick hairs, so purchase the all-purpose wax if your hairs are thick.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "Meh". Quick demographic info: fair and sensitive skin with dark, thick, coarse hair to be removed. Recently purchased this product after reading the favorable reviews, and was disappointed. I received better results from the all-purpose for waxing my legs and bikini area. Did not notice any less irritation or improved softness, in fact if anything my legs were less soft because many of the hairs broke instead of being pulled out. This product worked fine for facial waxing, but for the coarser hair on my legs and bikini line I will definitely keep shopping around!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ehhh!!! After reading the reviews, i decided to take this wax for a spin!.. well did i regret it.. the consistency was by far the best as far as thicknees and even spread, but it MISSED alot of hairs :o(.. something the all purpose doesnt... needless to say i dont think ill be using this wax formula again.. next on my list is the brazilian hard wax.. best of luck to al who want to try this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whoop! Awesome Wax!!! This is the best wax product I have ever used! If you have hair that needs to be removed, it's GONE! It's super easy to use. Unlike the other products, this wax is really thick and makes it very easy and accurate to apply. Talk about a clean pull. Everything will be gone in just one pull. Also less painful compared to everything else. Because it's thick, it is messy so make sure to use a cardboard collar to protect your warmer. It also heats up fast. Maybe 15 mins for a full container. I would recommend buying a bottle of Gigi WAX OFF bottle of after waxing lotion. It removes all the excess wax and residues. It's $10.00, but it's well worth it. It smells great and gets everything off. It's also a huge bottle. I will never use another wax product as long as I live. This stuff rocks ! ENJOY :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've tried so many different types and brands of wax, some good, some horrible, but none were standouts. Until Gigi's Azulene! I LOVE this wax! Doesn't take forever to heat, doesn't smell funky, and is SO easy to spread in a smooth THIN layer! It is soothing to your skin, not irritating; very easy to work with. I won't use anything else!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Wax Ever This is the best wax I have ever tried--just remember to use the dusting powder before application as the wax has quite some grip! It will take out pretty much everything you want it to remove, with at most five little hairs to tweeze. Don't worry about the initial price of buying the wax, wax heater, pre- and post-wax supplies. A little goes a long way and you will save so much $$$$ over going to the salon--just don't forget to put down some newspaper first and remember to have some baby oil on hand!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gigi's Best Wax! After trying a few waxes from Gigi, I have found that this is their best one. Even if you don't have sensitive skin, you'll feel the difference. It reduces the pain, redness and irritation I get from waxing, yet it still removes hair effectively (yes, even my coarse underarm hair- yuck!). This container of wax costs far less than any treatment at a beauty salon I've ever had and it will last for multiple applications. I can usually use one container of this wax to wax my whole body up to three times. I usually use it to wax my underarms, arms, legs, and bikini area. Try waxing yourself using this wax and you'll never need another trip to the salon again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works but made my skin ver itchy It works on course and fine hairs and doesn't dry skin. However it made my skin itch like crazy. It felt almost like a rash. It must have a chemical like the artificial blue color and propylene glycol. If it wasn't for this problem it would be perfect, even more than the Hemp wax because its not sticky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Wax! I waxed my legs for the first time yesterday and I am glad I used this wax. It didn't hurt, well it stung a little for the first few seconds. I found that if you just use a thin layer it works a lot better. After I waxed, there were only a few hairs here and there that I just took a wax strip that I already used and just pressed right where the hair was and then ripped it off and it came right out. The wax wasn't too goey or runny and went on really easy. Overall great wax; you should consider buying it!

I am pretty sure there is a wax that’s fine for sensitive skin. As far as the reaction... is she blistering or just red?

Is this soft or hard wax?

Asked by: Jacklynn01
I would think this is a soft wax to be used with a Muselin strip of fabric. I believe hard wax is the one that you apply and can remove it with your fingers pulling at once.

How is the wax heated?

Asked by: Ivory29u
You can buy a wax heating machine which is the easiest because he keeps it even temperature or if not you can heat water in a saucepan and put it with the water level be below the metal container make sure that when you take out the metal container you wear oven it's because it will be hot make sure you don't boil it just warm it up it works very well
