Rated 5 out of 5 by from New "Go To" wax Love this wax. After being a soft wax user for years, this is now my wax of choice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gets the job done, but not my first choice Decent quality wax, it definitely gets the job done (I’m a licensed esthetician) but overall it was a one time purchase to hold me over until I got a different order of wax beads from another brand. A little sticky and gummy which made the pull not as clean

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gigi wax beads Nice product however it does give ingrown hairs so be careful it could just be in me because my skin is so sensitive but this is supposed to be for sensitive skin so just be careful.

Is there any acrylic in the Gigi Soothing Azulene Hard Wax Beads? I have a client that is allergic to acrylic and I'm not sure if there is any acrylic on these.

What is the best consistency for this wax and how do you know the right temperature? Because I'll have it a thick consistency, but it will be hot and when I put it on my skin it hardens way to fast and hurts when I try to peel it off and sometimes breaks.

Asked by: Thor2003
Try your wax the inside of your wrist, it should be warm to touch. A little thicker then honey. Look on youtube on how to hard wax. medium heat is the way to go for me.

Do you have to use a warmer to melt the wax or can you use the stove or microwave? Also is it ideal to trim longer hairs before waxing or will it do the job either way? I'm 17 and this will be my first time attempting to remove bikini hair lol.

Asked by: Christal__
A warmer really is your best bet. The wax cools quickly and you need it kept soft while you are working the area. The hair really shouldn't be any longer than 1/4 inch. You can do it on longer but you run the risk of the hair breaking and not pulling from the root.

How do you warm it? I do have a wax warmer but not sure, should I pour the whole thing in the warmer ?

Asked by: Sara1238
They have empty pots for the warmers. I just got one with the bar across is to scrape off excess wax. I did not pour the whole bag and this wax goes a long way.
