Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! Do not buy I’ve been waxing for a couple years and decided to try out this wax... honestly the WORST wax I’ve ever used. It is extremely gooey and messy. And it doesn’t harden enough for a strip to take it off. It tears your skin and leaves behind a lot of wax residue which is impossible to get off because it just doesn’t harden! Honestly threw the whole thing away and will NEVER buy again. So bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, using for years I was also surprised to see the negative reviews. This is by far my favorite wax. Does not irritate my skin and I use on my bikini area and legs. Love it, I find it spreads easy and gets all the hair out. Love this wax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very gentle on sensitive skin. I would only recommend this product to a trained professional though. You must know what your doing yo get good results!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY ! I do not recommend this wax to anyone at all. This is wax is extremely messy, gooey, and a waste of time. It does not completely take out all hairs and it takes forever. It is also extremely sticky and gross !!! Do not spend your money on this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Use it on my eyebrows and on my boyfriends brows too and he has sensitive skin and it works great on both of us

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for eyebrows - TERRIBLE on Bikini area I am no stranger to executing a brazilian wax on myself. I have done it for 18 years. This was the first time I tried this wax formula, I decided to wax my eyebrows first - went well! Do NOT use this for your bikini area, it is much too gooey! Use the harder waxes for downtown. It hardens the correct amount and is much eaiser to deal with in thise places you cant see — trust me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wax. No smell. Left no rash behind so its amazing for sensitive skin. Easy to use. Great size for multiple use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t listen to these negative reviews I really don’t understand why the reviews are so negative?? This wax is the best!! I have sensitive skin so this wax doesn’t irritate me. All you need is a little to do a section of the face. People who gave negative reviews about it being sticky and’s wax...what did u expect? And they probably used ton of it. A smaller applicator is easier when doing the eyebrows. It pulls off the hair the first time. And it’s honestly saving me money rather than going to the Asians who mess them up anyways. I highly recommend this wax if your skin is sensitive!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible The creme wax was very sticky and did not completely come off on the muslin strip. It left tons of sticky residue which is extremely difficult to remove. After attempting two strips, I gave up and threw it away. Save your money. This stuff is horrible!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love! I had tried hard wax and honey wax before this. The hard was was a terrible mess and the honey wax was even worse. I absolutely love this creme wax. I have very corse thick dark hair and it gets it all. It doesn't hurt as much as using hard or honey wax. A little goes a long way. Although it does soak a bit through the strip I have always used a bit of baby oil or baby oil gel on my hands to keep wax from sticking to my fingers while I wax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This stuff works if you follow the directions I had to chime in because I see so many negative reviews... I used the honey wax for about 8 years however, my skin has become a lot more sensitive over the past year and my skin was so irritated and would break out after waxing - I knew I needed to find another option. I'm pleased with the results. It is gentler and removes all of the hair. I am a fan!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it This wax works amazing!!! I used the all purpose wax before this and this one was less mess, less painful and gripped all of the hairs. I never had to go back over the same spot twice. You only have to use very little and I used it with the muslin strips worked just fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made a Mess I have used hard, strip-free wax prior to this and decided to try a strip wax. I tried two times and have decided to go back to strip-free wax. I must have been applying too heavy a layer, the wax soaked right through the strips and stuck to everything. It was much more painful and difficult to remove. I never did get the hang of it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weird, but not bad The comparison to bubblegum in a previous review was dead-on, down to the weird plastic fruity smell, and it handles waaay differently than any other wax I've tried. It was extremely effective, though, removing everything from the fine hairs on my belly to the coarse ones around the bikini line with zero hairs left behind. As a novice waxer especially, I was happy with the results. You've got to put a very thin layer on (the can will last you forever), but you can spend some time getting it to the right thickness or moving it around, it didn't seem to lose any effectiveness if I waited a few moments before putting the strip on. Didn't end up with any redness, irritation or breakouts. Ps. Don't use muslin strips, the wax is too thin for that and will soak right through and make a mess. Comes right off with the brand's Wax-Off, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Learning Curve I used this wax as it came with my waxing kit and I am actually really glad I didn't read reviews on this particular wax until after I tried it or I would have never used it. There is definitely a learning curve. The first time I used it I was a mess I then discovered the trick is to apply a THIN layer. It worked best if you could actually see the hair through the wax you need VERY little wax. I used it for a brazillian and it gets everything but the finest of hairs! Prior to doing at home self waxing I had several professional ones done first, which I would recommend. I am so glad I tried this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from GiGi Honee Creme Wax I received this wax as part of the GiGi Pro wax warmer kit, and while it would not have been a wax I would have personally selected, I was open-minded and willing to try it out. This is the worse wax I have ever come across. It does not grip hair properly, thus making you need to go over a section more than once. When you place a strip over it, the wax soaks through and makes the other side of the strip very sticky. As others have said, it is very wispy. I would not suggest anyone purchase this particular creme wax, whether you are a professional or a DIY amateur, unless you like wasting your time and money on a product that is subpar at best. The funny thing is, before I used it, I had to stop into a local Sally's for something and mentioned being apprehensive about this wax because of the poor reviews and the sales lady said "What?! The creme wax is our best seller!"... how sad if that's true! GiGi has other wax products that are far superior to this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sticky pink mess This wax is nothing short of awful. It is sticky, stringy, messy, and it won't harden. It remains gooey and I was only able to lift a few hairs off of the areas I applied it to. It came with a waxing set I bought and while the set is great, this is awful. It's going straight to the trash and I'll be buying a new wax. It took me over half an hour to get this sticky gunk off of my skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a positive experience I'm glad I finally read these reviews. This is the second time I've used this wax and I honestly thought I had to be stupid, as how could leg waxing be so hard? Well! It wasn't me! This product was messy, sticky, didn't harden or come off easily and left a large residue. I do have to say, though, it did remove hair if you kept at it repeatedly. Even though this came free with the kit, I'm tossing it (and I'm cheap and proud of it!) and getting the all purpose wax.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY I purchases the GiGi Mini Pro Kit and the creme wax came with the package. Even at such a low cost I am returning the product. I am African American and attempted to use this product on my eyebrows and upper lip, it worked so poorly. My first attempt ended with my skin slightly burning and minor bleeding which I am used to when waxing but the only issue was that the wax removed one tiny patch of hair and that was it...tried different areas with same results. First time writing a review EVER.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not pleased! I am a licensed cosmetologist and received this wax as a gift along with Gigi Mini Pro Kit. The good part about the wax is that it melts fairly quickly which is always a plus! I used this wax with the muslin strips on my mom and it worked okay. I did have to re-wax certain areas though. When I tried the wax on myself it grasped about two hairs per eyebrow with the muslin strip so I tried to use this wax with Gigi Surgicloth Epilating strips and it removed absolutely NO HAIR! I will be purchasing a different type of wax, maybe Honee.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'd never used a creme wax like this before, so I was a little skeptical at first. It seemed to be very runny when heated. But it worked very well. It removed course bikini hair with little difficulty. It seemed to be easier on sensitive skin. I am pleased with how well it works. I plan to try the chocolate scented creme wax next... YUM!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Purchase Ever! I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I've had experience with wax before. I can absolutely tell you that this is unlike any wax I have used before! It was like hot, sticky bubbly gum that would just not come off my skin, would not ever dry hard, nor did it take any hair off of my face! I have never been so disappointed with a product in my life, and I really hope that this product becomes discontinued! Don't waste your money on this product, please!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I have a friend who works at a Salon and she told me that they use THIS wax there so I went and bought it and I have to say that it Amazing. The trick is to leave it a little bit over Medium for one hour before using and to apply a thin layer of wax on. But I have really coarse hair and sensitive skin and it worked great in both aspects.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gooey frustration in a tin can! I have never been so disappointed in a product marketed for professional use! This was is so gooey that it didn't stick to the muslin strip. It was more like trying to get warm bubble gum off of somebody's skin. Luckily i had no problem getting it off with the remover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very forgiving wax Not sure why others had such problems with this wax. I used it with my space saver warmer and it worked great. I found this wax to be very forgiving-whether I waited a few seconds to apply the strip or longer did not seem to matter. I used the GiGi large wood applicators (probably about 10 of them for my entire body since I NEVER double dip in the wax), and the GiGi large cloth removal strips. I agree its sticky so you have to work neatly, but it pulls up every hair. I was even able to press the strip down two or three more times to remove more hair. Best home waxing experience I have ever had.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing First time I have tried any waxing myself but I still don't think that this product was made for people with coarse hair. It was gooey, smelly (like something was burning) and didn't remove the hair like it was suppose to. Now I have to go buy a different wax but this time I did some research first and I'm excited to try the new one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Sticky Mess I got this wax in the GiGi Mini Pro Kit. It is the worse wax ever! I melted the wax like the directions said and it never got to the right consistency and when I applied to my skin to remove hair, it didn't work. It just left my skin a little red with little hair removed. After a few hours, my skin was irritated still and I ended up with a tiny rash on the area I tried to wax.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Wax Ever!! This wax gives you all the of the stickiness of a wax with no hair removal. Its absolutely awful and would not recommend it to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful EXTREMLY sticky and messy!!! Definitely have wax remover or baby oil or any type of oil handy. Removed very few hairs. Got it free with the space saver warmer though, or else it would've been a complete waste of money. I would NOT recommend this wax

do you have to warm this wax up , the cream wax GIGI

Asked by: Rosaline
Yes, you have to warm up the creme wax. I put it in the warmer on high for 30 minutes to soften. Once I am ready to use I turn the warmer down to low.
