My favorite!
I hesitate writing a good review because this is already hard to get in stores, I have to order online most of the time. Best affordable liquid foundation I've used. I was on bare minerals powder for many years and this covers way better. I'm fair skinned and the shell matches perfectly. I've never been able to find a foundation that covers and matches so well. Hope they don't stop making it. You have my business!

I bought this to try something new because the sales assocate was telling me how much she loves this foundation! I used it and this is a terrible foundation!! I have combination skin but this made my T zone really oily. Not only that throughout the day I felt sticky because of the faoundation.

Never been so impressed
I’ve never been so impressed with foundation. Ive been trying many different foundation but none compare to this. My skin look flawless, it matches my skin color to a T. It’s last all dad even with my daughter rubbing on my face. The concealer is also amazing. Neither soak into my pores, nor does my face look cakey

Fantastic foundation

I have tried many products from very cheap to more expensive like bare minerals, (bare minerals loose powder is still up there in favs) but for a foundation I LOVE This product, goes on smooth, appears nicely and lasts for me. Oily t-zone, this matte foundation has helped. Hope this review helps someone else contemplating I don’t think you’ll be dissaponted!

I have sensitive skin and I literally tried so many foundations but all the other foundations irritated my skin made it all red and puffy looking and I went through so many highend to drugstore foundations I just felt like maybe foundation wasn't for me and I went to Sally's for a couple of face mask and I saw col•lab foundation dewy and matte I decided to try the matte cause my face is oily for the most part but even when my skin is dry this foundation works wonders I'm so in love with it. It's so lightweight and medium coverage but its buildable, looks perfect with concealer and setting powder❤

Not for oily skin
I really, really, really wanted to like this foundation. I have oily skin and I only purchased this because it said matte. It went on very smooth and creamy and started out matte, but literally an hour after putting it on my whole face was shiny as heck (unusually have an oily T-zone). So I tried a different moisturizer and primer and setting spray, and nope same results. I would definitely never purchase this again.

I bought a bottle last year and there’s no name on the bottle. I want to re purchase it but cannot find the same shade. There is a number 12 on the bottom of the bottle and the shade looks close to sand. Can you tell me what shade has the number 12?

With this foundation, what is a good powder to follow up with?
I used Col-Lab Set The Stage Soft-Focus Translucent Finishing Powder, or the Kill the Shine Pressed Powder during the hot Texas days of summer! The matte finish on this foundation can be worn with or without powder...at least my experience.

I am 49 and I am finding it hard to get a good foundation that doesn't make my wrinkles look worse. How does this perform?
I am happy with it..my under eye area is always an issue so as long as I have been moisturizing it’s ok. My biggest issue was a foundation that stays put during the daily meltdowns...this one stays on!

Is this a true matte or is it a demi matte with more of a natural look?
In my opinion it's more of a natural matte finish but that may be because I've been using a moisturizing primer. It's a great foundation for my combo skin. I have an oily T-zone and I'm dry in other areas and this foundation looks good on both areas.

I am 50 and have combination skin. Would this foundation be good for someone with mature skin? I hate it when a foundation settles in those little lines. It makes me look older.
I am 50+ as well and have absolutely NO issues with this product. I don't have a ton of fine lines or wrinkles, but what I do have, the foundation does not settle in. Have no issues with oxidation either. Maybe they have tweaked the formula since the other couple of responses. I would suggest that you use a primer however, to help fill-in those trouble spots.

Yes, this foundation oxidizes badly, which is why I returned it immediately, and I almost never have issues with foundations doing that.
