Soak Off Gel Polish Caps & Foam Pads

Item SBS-156552

  • What is it?
ASP Soak Off Gel Polish Caps and Foam Pads are a quick and easy way to remove soak off gel polish by using body heat to speed up soak off time. ASP Soak Off system uses reusable caps and proprietary hydrophilic material foam pads which are extremely absorbent to control dripping and uses less acetone. Pads are designed to fit the custom caps. Includes 10 caps and 10 foam pads.
    What makes it special?
    • Requires less exposure to acetone
    • Super absorbent foam pads
    • Reusable caps
    • 10 Count
  • Pump a small amount of Soak Off solution on pad, insert foam pad into cap leaving some foam sticking out, this will help the acetone not to leak. Slide finger into cap with nail bed to the foam pad for the necessary time. Do not overload the foam with acetone as this will cause leaking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stained My Fingers Pink I bought these to use with pure acetone to remove a gel manicure. As my nails were soaking, I realized that the acetone was leeching the color out of the caps onto my fingers, which were becoming stained bright pink. I was able to get the color off after washing my hands several times, but that's still super disappointing. If the caps & foam pads are designed to be used with acetone (as it says on the package) they shouldn't start to leech color/break down when you use them that way.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible total waste of money! if you use 100% acetone the caps start to melt pink goo all over the foam. they do not stay on. tin foil works way better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely recommend These gel polish removal caps work very well. Beats the cotton balls & foil.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not comfortable for use! TOO Expensive! It is not comfortable for use! If u use 100% aceton you will got pink color all over, which make your job dirty! With 100% aceton caps will dissolve!!! I spent my money for nothing! So upset!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soak Off Gel Polish Remover I prefer these caps to the foil method. I do my nails every two to three weeks and these lasted over two years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glitter polish removal I absolutely LOVE these little pink caps for the removal of glitter and hard to remove nail lacquer! There is hardly any scrubbing off the glitter from the nail bed, it practically slides right off after a few minutes of soaking. I have never used the foam that comes with the caps, I tear VERY small pieces off of a cotton ball (just large enough to fit my nail bed), soak the cotton piece in a little acetone, place cotton on the nail bed and then place the cap over the cotton, let it soak for about 3-5 minutes, remove the caps and the glitter polish slides right off without hardly any scrubbing. Unfortunately I cannot speak for the removal of gel polish at this time, because I have not used it yet for that purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soak off gel polish caps & foam pads I love these! They fit my hands and don't hurt like some of the other ones I've tried for removing soak off gel polish or fake nails. These are also nice because I can still do some things with them on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing caps My first gripe with this product is that it was missing one of the caps. There were only 9 in the bag and there clearly should have been 10. My second complaint is that there must not be enough contact or something on the pads because I soaked mine for twice the recommended period of time with little success. It helped slight, but I still had to soak my nails with another method, which totally defeats the purpose of these. Not worth the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just okay! These are kind of messy to use and it took much longer than just soaking my fingertips in a bowl. One of the foam pads ripped in two when I tried to remove it and there aren't any extras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How You Hold the Foam Makes a Difference I have found that following the directions leads to misery, but using my own method leads to this product making me happy! I place the curved end on my nail as indicated, except I turn it backwards, then bend the rest of the foam under my finger, and insert it into the cap. This keeps contact with the nail plate constant, and also makes it have a snug fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money Bought these last night thinking it would make removal easier. After an hour of continously adding more solution, I gave up and got out my tenfoil. Went through trash and found receipt. Returning first thing this morning. Awful

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wont stay on Tried them twice now and theyre more frustrating than just soaking 8n a bowl of acetone. I have to keep my fingertips pressed against something to keep the stupid things on. So disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing caps :-/ They only came with 5 caps even thought it says 10. They other than that I do prefer them over foil soaking. If you follow the directions and soak the tip of the foam, then put the foam in the cap, they will go on your fingers and stay with no problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So much easier than foil!! I bought these this morning and I am so happy! They work better than expected and I could do all 10 fingers at once. They did have to stay on a little longer, but the end result was awesome!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't! Better off using foil Bought this today and spent extra time searching for this product so I could warn you not to buy it. Stupid foam with worthless plastic caps. No dissolving solution.. No way for the caps to stay on. Left it on twice as long as supposed to after no result and ended up using pure acetone and a metal bar to remove the polish. Not fast or easy.
Date published: 2017-04-25
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless!! I bought these a few weeks ago and am sorry I did. They don't stay on unless you hold them. Therefore, you can only do 1 at a time. Waste of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest Removal I've used the same set for over 6 months. To keep them on, I simply press down on the tips. After soaking, I get a small bowl of very warm water and soak each nail for 2 seconds to further soften the gel polish. If there are any spots where the gel isn't coming off, simply redip in the warm water. With this method, I can remove the polish rather quickly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! Returning today Do not stay on. Tried with soak off solution from Sally's, and acetone. Been trying over an hour now to remove gel polish. went back to foil.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not recommend I bought and tried these yesterday thinking that they would be more effective than the tin foil method to remove gel but that was not the case. I found them too big so they kept coming off the same as the foil. The foam pads are only intended for one time use so it would be quite expensive to have to purchase them repeatedly. I tried using them in combination with foil thinking that they would hold the foil on but even then they did not stay on my fingers. This was a complete waste of my $15.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! I bought this a while ago and recently used it. Couldn't be any happier with the results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for big fingers My hands are large,so they pop off unless I hold my fingertips against a hard surface. Have used the foam, cotton balls, no success. They've stretched out. Wanted the clothespin type but was not available.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Idea but.. I bought these almost a month ago and when I used them they barely stayed on my fingers so it took my twice as long to get my gel polish off my nails

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ASP I have been using the caps and pads for quite awhile now and really enjoy the ease of use and how well it took off the gel. I live in a hot and dry climate and have had no problems with the caps. Only having to buy the pads is a plus and saves me money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from gel polish removal system I just love these. Cuts down on time at salon with messy cotton balls and foil and extra charge.. While doing this at home I can continue to do other things with no drip or mess. Will use these forever and sing their praises!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nailmates disappointment This is the same product as Nailmates. After reading reviews I was excited to buy and try. Anything to make the process of gel polish removal easier. I'm disappointed that they did not stay on very well. Also I noticed after the first use, the caps are somewhat stretch and makes them even more loose. They kept sliding off my fingers and I wouldn't say I have have slender fingers.

I would like to know ingredients. Does it have alcohol and/or acetone? Thanks!

Asked by: FYAlvarz
Yes the product must be taken off with acetone especially the polishes with glitter and the regular polishes can be taken off with non acetone Because of the new system of getting the product off less wear and tare on your nails Keep a nail file with your kit so you can file down just the edge of your nail

Caps & foam

Hi, can it do many times? Or it just does in one times Tks
Asked by: Hnk
I've been using the same caps and foam pads for close to a year. I cut a cotton round into 4 pieces and saturate one piece with acetone then place on nail. I put a foam pad over that and then put the cap on. I do each nail the same way, one hand at a time and let it sit for 8 minutes then remove cap, foam and cotton piece from one nail at a time and push off the polish then go to the next nail. Works great!  Very economical.
