  • Brilliantly intense hair color No ammonia or peroxide Formulated in Italy Ready to use
ion Color Brilliance™ Semi-Permanent Brights are hi-fashion hair color shades designed to give vivid, boldly intense results. In 20 to 40 minutes ion Color Brilliance™ Brights deposits color on pre-bleached natural or color treated hair. ion Color Brilliance™ Brights can be applied to pre-lightened hair and natural or colored hair.
  • ion Color Brilliance Semi-Permanent Brights Hair Color can be applied two different ways.

    1. For the most vibrant result apply to pre-lightened hair. Pre-lighten with Ion Color Brilliance Ammonia Free Powder Lightener (not included) to the desired level of lift. It is important to note that the degree of lift achieved with pre-lightening will directly affect the vibrancy and intensity of the final result. Underlying exposed contributing pigment must be taken into consideration. If the hair is orange or a dark yellow this will contribute to the final color.

To achieve a boldly intense brights color, pre-lighten to the level indicated in the table below for each specific color. After pre-lightening, shampoo with ion Color Defense Shampoo. Dry the hair. Apply chosen brights shade directly on dry hair and process for 20 to 40 minutes depending on the level of color intensity desired. Strand test every 5-10 minutes. Heat is not necessary for processing if the hair has been pre-lightened. After processing, thoroughly rinse and apply ion® Color Brilliance After Color Treatment to close the cuticle and lock the color deep inside the hair.

    2. Color shine overlays on natural or color treated hair. Apply brights directly onto natural or color treated dry hair and process for 20 to 40 minutes. For more intense vibrant results, cover the hair with a processing cap and process with heat. Strand test every 5-10 minutes.

After processing is completed, thoroughly rinse and apply ion Color Brilliance After Color Treatment to close the cuticle and lock color deep inside the hair.

  • ion Color Brilliance Semi-Permanent Brights Hair Color are non-oxidative dyes that can be extremely long lasting and may become permanent. Apply to dry, pre-lighten hair.

Should removal be necessary from hair, it is important to know that lightener may not completely remove Brights from hair. ion Color Corrector is not recommended for removal of Brights. It is designed for permanent and Demi-Permanent color removal.

Always read the product packaging and inserts for complete directions, instructions, and warnings, and make sure to perform both the strand test and the patch test before applying your color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Purple tones Only lasted 12 days but washed hair at least 3 to 4 times within that period. Also bleached before hand and added some diffuser to dye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titanium Bought this color and loved it. Wished a little bit went a longer way but outside of that, the color is great. Was a great shade of silver and made the purple in my hair shine like crazy too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome colors!! I dyed my hair with the Tanzanite color, and it lasted almost 3-4 months. I continued to just wash my hair with ice cold water, and I also bought the pigments revitalizing color booster to help it. And it lasted longer. I loved it! But now I'm thinking silver.... :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommend highly The lavender I used was discontinued so I gave this a shot and absolutely love it! It gives my hair some silvery highlights along with a very appealing purple. You just have to be very careful if you want it to stay for a long time, obviously.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Go-to hair color I've been seeing some of the negative reviews, and honestly they are sadly by people who just don't fully understand hair color and how it works. I've been dying my hair with this product for about 4 years now and it's always worked. I HEAVILY dilute mine with conditioner to get a pastel effect and don't use developer. I also am starting out with very light blonde hair lightened with 10 vol for about 10 minutes just to open up the pores. With every 2 day shampooing and color depositing conditioner I keep my color for an easy 2 months (until I want to touch up my roots). I've had a pink to purple ombre for the past few months that I'm in love with. The pink is a mixture of Flamingo, Rose, and Salmon while the purple is lavender mixed with the pink dye mixture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My go-to hair dye After getting my hair professional dyed pink and being warned about how fast pink fades, I tried different products that I could use myself to try to maintain the pink color without paying a fortune. This product has by far been my favorite. For those of you asking about using a developer, you only need to use a developer with the ion permanent brights, not the semi brights. I’ve used both just depending on which one my store has in my color but I prefer the permanent. Only because the semi brights does have a toothpaste like texture, especially since you just use it out of the tube, no developer. It does help if you stir it with a plastic fork in a bowl before using it and you also have to get more tubes with the semi just because it’s ready to use. So I’d recommend the permanent , with the volume 10 developer. They both take about the same time to fade and the developer makes it easier to apply.

So I go to the store often and normally I’m dying my hair a dark color since I have dark brown hair however this time I would like to dye my hai a light minty green color. How much bleach should I use for my hair without causing major damage?

Asked by: RyleeB4673
In order to get your hair light enough to do minty green you will have to bleach it a lot and damage is unavoidable. You will have to bleach your hair until it is pale blond (almost white) to get mint green hair color to work. There are moisturizing treatments and protein treatments that can help mask the damage.

Does this coloring stay a while, or does it fade after a few washes? And is it a good color for dark brown hair?

Asked by: itsmeh123
It won’t show up well on unbleached hair. It will both fade from vibrancy quickly and stick around with subtle stain.
