Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rich Dark Brown is actually orange/pink on my gray Never again! I am a 52 year old professional who only wanted to gently cover my gray roots, not look like a clown.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed - Burgundy Brown I purchased burgundy brown to cover my current honey blonde hair. I am relaxed on the sides only and natural at the top. The top of my hair turned a bright red color ( like a clown) and my sides are closer to a burgundy brown. Obviously it took better on relaxed hair than natural. Not what I expected at all. I will be returning the second bottle ( it was a bogo ) and trying a different shade to correct the top.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Covers grey and leaves hair shiny I used a medium ash brown color to cover my 20% - 30% grey. Applied to my roots first and 20 minutes later I applied to the rest of my hair for an additional 15 minutes and my hair looks fabulous. The color is darker than I expected, but looks great. Get a tone lighter than you would usually get. Also I used a 20 developer for root coverage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blue Hair My hair was EXTREMELY light blonde with a hint of minty green in it. And I mean a TINY amount of green. I put this dye all over my head assuming that rich dark brown would at least make it sort of a medium or light BROWN. However. It made my hair dark blue/purple. I don’t understand how that works, but my hair went from pale blonde to dark blue/purple. I was looking at the dye as it was being worked into my hair and stained my skin a rich brown color but turned my hair blue. I’m not happy at all. Going to get a refund and swith it for different dye.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice coverage I got the dark brown one and just did my roots. Normally I do my roots with permanent color, but in an effort to save my dry, over processed, wavy hair, I tried this. I left it on for about 40 minutes and rinsed, followed by conditioner. It surprisingly did a good job covering my greys (I have about 10-15%). It did however turn out dark brown with lots of red undertones. I may have to try an even darker color. My hair feels sooooo good though! Time will tell how this color holds up. For the price, I don't mind doing this every couple weeks and maybe my hair will become healthy again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good semi permanent I really like this hair color! I decided to try the cinnamon brown shade on my dark brown hair with about 15%-20% gray. I put the color in right after I relaxed my hair and let it stay in for 30 minutes with 2 caps on to make sure that the color took. After I was done rinsing the color out (which it did take a little extra time to rinse) and towel drying my hair, I absolutely fell in love with the results! My grays are gone and my hair is a reddish brown color that is so shiny and natural looking! I will definitely use this product again!

Does this product dye the scalp along with the hair? How about along the hairline?

Asked by: Maybe an
If you put it on your scalp, it will die your scalp.  You need to part your hair off, and apply it near the root,  but not on the scalp.  I have been using the honey blonde color to cover my gray, but I don’t and apply it to all of my hair. I apply it length-wise  down the head in the direction the hair grows, not across. In thin streaks going downward. It seems to  blend better this way and I end up with a pretty platinum blonde. Lasts about two months.

How long does the colors last

Asked by: RizaGirl
I don't have a lot of gray to cover; rather, I use the honey blond to brighten my own hair color. It lasts for a week and a half to two weeks, then I just touch it up with some color. (I have short hair.)

Does this product color the gray as clarion advanced gray semi permanent

Asked by: Flea5758
This colors the grey but it only lasts about 2 weeks before you start to see it fading around the edges. I'm not aware of clarion product but this product I use all the time & it covers great just wish it lasted longer before starting to fade.

I used the wrong color went can I apply the correct color

Asked by: Betty baba
Shampoo with a clarifying shampoo to remove the present color more quickly. You don’t want the two temporary colors to leave you with, yet, another color. Then apply new semi-permanent color. Semi-Permanent color can be reapplied every 4 to 8 weeks.
