Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product Just want to say that i have been using this product for years and will continue to do so...I have naturally curly hair and this product is the only product that keeps my curls in tact, shiny, and beautful.. Here is a tip: Apply product when wet, let it set for a while (the longer the better) then blow dry in low...Wala!!! Beautiful Curls!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Natural Curls!!! I purchased this GVP Sculpting Foam about a year ago because I have naturally curly hair and needed something that would hold my curls and keep it from looking frizzy. At one point I had purchased some other items just to see how they worked in my hair; every time I went back to the GVP Sculpting Foam because NOTHING works as good on my natural curls. It's also a plus that it doesn't cause your hair to be sticky or weighed down. So this is what I will continue to use! I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Generic value sculpting foam compare to paul mitchell sf This is an excellent product, it is not sticky in the hair leaves a nice shine & is better than the actual Paul Mitchell foam that is expensive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heat Protectant Foam I have been using a very expensive name-brand styling foam but I wasn't even sure if that was heat protecting so I needed to find something else. I prefer using foams rather than sprays because my hair is fine and sprays tend to grease it down. This product was recommended to me by a Sally's worker and I thought I would give it a try since the price is great and it's a rather large bottle. I use this on mostly-dry to dry hair, since it doesn't seem to work on wet hair. I use a palm-size amount (be careful not to get too much because this does expand) and spread it around on my hair and I use a tiny bit on my bangs. This is very sticky at first and makes my hair crunchy until I brushed it and used heat. This works great with a blow dryer and hair straightener and leaves my hair soft and smooth--not sticky or crunchy. The smell is a little cheap, like coconut lipbalm or something, but it's light so it doesn't overwhelm you. I've been using this for a couple weeks now and it's great. I haven't had problems with greasy-looking hair or frizz since using it. Overall I'm happy with the results AND price so once my other expensive stuff runs out I'm switching to GVP since this has saved me alot! Works not only on curly hair like the other reviewers said, but great for fine, limp, frizzy or straight hair too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I <3 this stuff! This mousse is wonderful!! Not crunchy at all, if you use this to scrunch your hair, you have wonderful smelling, soft, bouncy waves...this is GREAT! Use this with the texturizing spray if you need more definition, but I LOVE this in itself!

Is this product safe for a treated karatin smoothing hair?

Asked by: Beatriz J
I believe it would definitely be safe for keratin treated hair. I have used this mousse for years and it is by far the most conditioning and calming for naturally curly hair. It is alcohol free and my hair is very curly, yet fragile. I have tried EVERY brand of mousse over the years and this by far is the best!!! Smells wonderful also!

Asked by: MellieMel75
I have never seen a larger size of the generic Paul Mitchell mousse. I usually buy a few at a time because it is excatly like the real one.
