Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for a newbie! Excellent shears. I am a total newbie to hair cutting (thanks to stay-at-home orders). These were great. Allowed me to cut everyone's hair in my house, even my own. Much safer than using sharp barber shears, especially when doing my own hair! Allowed me to blend and shape with ease. Excellent shears!

What’s the difference between these and the blending shears?

Asked by: Lolalolita
One online video said, "Texture shears are wider than thinning shears and don’t take out as much." I am trying to nail down exactly what that means in terms of the number of teeth. My best guess, just a guess, is that more teeth take out a larger proportion of the hairs, and fewer teeth will remove a smaller proportion of the hairs. (I am thinking about cutting my own hair, after decades of professional haircuts every 4 weeks, ee gads. That darn coronavirus!)
