  • Boosts and maintains cosmetic color in between salon services Formulated with natural oils and antioxidants Leaves hair silky and vibrant
ion Color Pigments directly deposits color in one simple conditioning treatment. This is formulated with natural oils and antioxidants for brilliant results that intensify color and enhances shine.
  • Using gloves, apply to wet, cleansed hair. Leave on 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Suitable for use up to 2-3 times per week. Frequent use will intensify color. Patch test is recommended each time prior to use.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Temporary color, works on all hair. People are always complimenting my pink hair. The magenta-pigmented conditioner works great. (I also like the purple.) Initially, I used the pigmented conditioner to hide some disturbing white hairs showing up in my natural chestnut brown hair. It worked so well and remained bright until I washed my hair. I found that the pigmented conditioner renews the color and the brightness. With every use, the color becomes more intense and seems like a permanent color. I get the coverage of those areas without color and my brown hair is enhanced by the pigment. Because my hair is so dark, the magenta gives my color an iridescent look in the sunlight. Now no one needs to bleach out color to get a hot color. Great pigment and a great price. I highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for color upkeep I love using this color mask to keep up with my magenta hair in between root touch ups. It's great to use in spots that have faded more than others or for an all over color refresh. Usually looks like I just re-dyed it, that's how pigmented it is

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Depends on what you’re going for I’ve used this product a few times. Let me tell you....if you have blonde hair and you put the natural brown overtop of that....it will stain your hair and not come off. Mine has been stuck on my hair for a while. Not that I mind but if you try to re bleach your hair to get rid of the pigment....it might take to the bleach really weird. Overall it‘a a really strong product you just have to be careful

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vibrant! I used some of the red hot colour on my blonde hair and it came out so vibrant and it's temporary so it's perfect for people like me who dye their hair a different colour every few weeks/months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS STUFF Literally the best stuff. Smells good, makes my hair soft, and the pigment is great! Get compliments on my hair all the time and people asking how I keep it so blue. Ordered 4 bottles because I thought it was discontinued? NEEDED to stock up because nothing works as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes your hair brighter and hold color longer! I swear by this to brighten and maintain my color. I end up coloring my hair less often. I apply it on clean, dry hair and the longer I leave it on, the brighter my hair is. It will even work on my gray hairs but doesn't hold as long on grey. Be careful with your skin as it will stain! I have even used it on kids with blonde hair as it is fun and washes out eventually. The only negative is that the color leans more magenta than it does true purple. I've mixed it with blue to make it more of a true purple but it doesn't come out as even as I hoped so highlights pick up more of the blue. I still love it and get many comments on my color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for temporary pink hair This was recommended to me and I honestly LOVE it so much! It’s def a healthier alternative than dying your hair over and over again with pink hair dye! If you want to try pink hair but don’t want to have it last too long or not sure how you would look, 100% recommend! Comes out literally within 2-4 washes depending on how much you use

Are they not selling this product anymore??

Asked by: Ajstegel13
I do not think that this product is actually on the market anymore. I have been looking for it for months, both online and from retailers. The only thing I have found is online sellers, selling from their personal collection.

Will mixing the neon purple and jade give a deeper/darker purple? Or maybe the sky blue? The neon purple by it's self makes my hair more of a reddish purple

Asked by: Stephanie88
I agree it is too red so I did mix it with blue and it was much better although I had some spotty issues no matter how much I mixed it. Also, the blue will last forever on any hair that has been bleached.

Do they not make red hot for this product anymore?

Asked by: Mercwitamouf
Probably out of stock. Look at local locations. Maybe on their shelf. But will eventually show up on site.

Why can't find the red color on this product? Is so good

Asked by: Lady_ch29
What color red do you want? I am a natural redhead (turning gray!) and the auburn refreshes color - just a little deeper but not brown.  I sometimes mix auburn and hot red if I need a little more vibrant red.

I'm looking for ion pigments red hot but I'm not seeing where I can select it

Asked by: Jefinner1979
Looking for red hot in temporary color try the semi permanent ion colors in level 6. Try any of the hair color on level 6 R or IR. Depending on the color of your hair (mine was dark brown) and the final shade you want determines the peroxide level. I used a 30 level to get a decent lift of my own color, I mixed a 6.6IR with a 6R and the result was a deep rich fired Irish red. You can play with this recipe to get your "red hot" by using 6IR permanent color then doing a bright red temporary rinse. I have gone deep burgundy red these days. I don't have to color as often because it blends better with my roots and I can use a lighter process peroxide. I am older and want a little less fuss these days. I hope I helped.

I died my hair a deep burgundy colour at the salon, can I use the red hot to keep it a burgundy colour or would it make my hair brighter? I want it to stay the same burgundy red colour.

Asked by: ashhh115
I mix the red hot and magenta to get my burgundy hair. More magenta than red hot.

What would happen if I put it on dry hair as if I was putting dye on my hair?

Asked by: Alexisleone
ION color pigment was the best. I used it all the time and didn't have to color my hair every month. I wish they would bring it back. They do have different colors but not natural brown . It was the best
