Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gross residue I bought this product by itself but not the shampoo. I used my own shampoo and then used this conditioner and I noticed it was a very odd texture and different from other conditioners. I didn’t really think anything of it but then I got out of the shower and my scalp felt so oily (my hair is naturally very dry especially from bleaching it so much) and waxy. It left behind a very odd feeling residue that was sticky and stayed behind on my hands when I ran them through my hair! Ew!! So I washed my hair a second time with just water and a little of the residue seemed to come out but nothing I could work with. I searched reviews on this product and it seems like others were having the same issue. NOT worth the purchase or the hassle. It doesn’t even have a nice smell!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad I bought this conditioner and used it for the first time today. I was apprehensive about using it as I read the previous review, which is very negative. I used a clarifying shampoo before I used this. The conditioner seemed to be just okay. It wasn't hard for me to to rinse out. I have a mix of wavy/curly hair. I am unsure if it did much to my hair but I did notice some shine in my bleached highlights. I will use more to see if it makes a big difference in my damaged hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not come out of your hair without a fight I bought this about 2 weeks ago from Sally Beauty after bleaching my hair with BTZ bleach (which I have been using for years and highly recommend). My hair wasn't incredibly damaged-it takes bleaching sessions fairly well- but I wanted to ensure it was as healthy as possible. So I bought the shampoo and conditioner. The texture of the conditioner was strange- it was like white, runny goo, and somewhat difficult to get out of the bottle. I should have thrown it out when I realized that the product, when it my hand, wasn't mixing with the water from the shower but literally separating away from it- the mixture was hydrophobic, like oil. The first time I used this product I noticed that my hair was incredibly waxy / stringy after I dried it, and stuck in the curls and positions it was in when it was wet- and no amount of styling would fix it. It was like I had literally dipped the individual strands in wax or copious amounts of hair oil and then tried to brush it. Disgusting. So I rewashed my hair a second time with a different shampoo to ensure the issue wasn't the shampoo, and had the same result. Then I washed it a 3rd time and FINALLY- it wasn't AS gross and waxy. It took me shampooing my head and rinsing with warm water for 15-20 minutes at a time...THREE TIMES... to get SOME this stuff out of my hair. Then I had to go buy a mint shampoo with a chemical stripping agent in it to remove the rest of the gunk. Come on now. I shouldn't have to fight to get a conditioner out of my hair and I haven't had this issue with any other brand of hair repair conditioners before. And to add insult to injury, after I was finally able to get the product out of my hair, I noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever... so it was just a gross, tedious mess with no positive end result.
