Thick, creamy, moisturizing deep conditioner
I thought I’d try out this conditioner using some Sally Beauty rewards points. This conditioner is awesome. I have fine 4a Afro-textured hair, and this conditioner made my strands soft and pliable. I am always on the lookout for affordable Ion products that work well, and I’m happy to say I found it.

Leaves hair shiny and smelling nice
I started to use this mask, and I was impressed by it, since most ppl have told me ION doesn't work well with thicker hair (my hair is medium thick). I love how nice and soft my hair is the day I use it, but on the 2nd day it's okay, but I would probably recommend using a leave in hair conditioner for the next day. It's not as soft and shiny as it is the first day. But regardless I was still impressed by it, and many people kept complementing my hair.

This is by far the BEST!!! Left on for 5 mins with a cap over. When i rinsed it off it felt somewhat soft, but after drying it, its smooth as silk. Did leave my roots a bit greasy, but i think thats because that hair is virgin so its not as dry as the rest of my hair. I will avoid my roots next time and see if it does better. I have mid back blonde hair thats straight. I bought this to help with dryness and split ends from prior bleaching.

Smells amazing after a good shower
I was having second thoughts when I got this product. I had bought it but didn’t use it until 2 weeks later. I was thinking of returning it just because I felt like I wasn’t going to use it. I’ve been using 180pro which work wells on my hair. So one day I went over to my sisters and I had thought about taking a small conditioner and I came across this one so I said to myself ”today is the day I’ll be using it I guess” so when I used it, I completely fell in love!! Now I don’t want to continue using it because I don’t want to waste it. Lol but I do anyway. I’ll definitely be buying more. The smell stays in your hair and my fair felt really soft after. Works amazing!!!

Not for Me
I have medium length, straight, fine hair. I usually steer clear of any type of deep conditioners and masks because I’m constantly fighting the amount of oil my hair and scalp produces but I received a sample of this and it smells really good so I decided to try it anyways.
After shampooing I applied a smallish amount and began rinsing after 2 minutes. 10 minutes later I’m STILL RINSING my hair trying to get all the product out. Altogether I spent around 15 minutes vigoursly trying to rinse until the water ran clear and I could no longer feel any “sliminess”. I gave up. Even while drying my hands after they also felt greasy with residue.
I know my hair type is all wrong for this product but I also don’t think that the product should have left a residue on my hair like it did.

In the description they said this does not have silicone, why does it say dimethicone under ingredients ? Does this have silicones or not??
I asked Ion the same question and they said that they do not claim the masque is silicone free, only the conditioner and shampoo. They did admit that the masque has silicones, believe me I called them out on it. If they would just take the silicone out of the masque the whole line would be perfect for those of us avoiding silicones and sulfates.

How do you use this
Use in place of conditioner after shampooing. Massage into wet hair from roots to ends. Leave in for 2 minutes or longer, up to10 minutes for super thirsty, brittle hair. Rinse out thoughly, use cool water for extra shine!
