Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product needs more clarification I thought this was a conditioner for chemically blonde treated hair

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I was suprised that this little package was enough for all of my hair. I have long thick curly hair and it covered it all. Smells good and helps tone down the brassy tones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great! I was really nervous about putting this in my hair but the results were great. I dyed my lightened hair yellow & orange with artic fox (semi-permanent color). I was impatient to wash it out as my hair had turned a gross yellow afterwards. So i tried this treatment and it worked really well. It took my hair back to a nice natural blonde. It seems like the pigment rinsed out because my hair looks a but lighter too. Quite a few people mentioned i was having a good hair day when they saw me It does have a very metallic smell when it was on my hair. Afterwards i used a leave in & heat protectant before styling my hair :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magic! This finishing rinse is amazing. Reduces brassiness and adds shine. I went to a Sally Store and bought several more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good product I added this powder to my shampoo and was pleased with how it lightened. It wasn't dramatic, but it was noticeable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Might bump up the blonde Got it to re-oomph my bleached blonde hair. I expected it to be like a conditioning treatment, but it is more like shampoo. Its hard to tell exactly how much it helped my hair, but i felt like my hair was less yellow after. I continue to use them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I normally go for white blonde and got more banana yellow blonde with this. Hope the toner helps and doesnt dry out my hair any more than this already has. Ughh

Will this remove hard water stains from hair ?

Asked by: Orangehair1
The main ingredient, sodium gluconate, is a chemical that will pull metals from hair. I think it is meant exactly for this

I see some are saying it burns and dries your hair out ,some have lost hair. I'm leery. If I use this just on my roots will it take the brass away and not dry or burn my hair

Asked by: Jojoskids
No, it won’t change the color, it brightens blond. There are other things to do to get rid of brass.  There is a treatment that is for brassiness, it’s called blond brilliance for ash, works great.

Have a lot of ash towns in my hair with this brighten it up for me I’m still scared to use it

I unfortunately do not recommend this. It turned my blonde too banana yellow and I ended up having to do a toner that still didn’t seem to correct the effects. Now I have put brown thick low lights to blend...it may have a different effect for others, but I have a few extra packets that are going in the trash.

My hair is now naturally white. Purple shampoo does not remove the brassy spots. Will this work on untreated hair? Thank you.

Asked by: Maggiepk
I have never used it on natural hair but I would say it’s worth a shot especially if the brassiness is due to hard water or product build up. Maybe also try a clarifying treatment!

I have naturally blonde / strawberry blonde hair. During the summer I put Sun-In into my hair to lighten it up a  bit.  I was wondering if this product would work to lighten my natural hair color?

Asked by: Andrea87
I am in the same boat. I have natural bright blonde hair in the top layers and a somewhat darker reddish strawberry blonde underneath. I have been fighting hard water issues and I feel like my hair has been continuously grimey looking after the winter, even after rinsing with things like lemon juice, which normally works great. I tried this product, and I would not go so far as to say it lightened my hair, I still have the post winter darker roots that we blondes tend to get. However, my hair does FINALLY look clean! So it did brighten it up in that way so that it can sparkle on it's own again. Without being weighed down by the minerals and water crud.

I have brown hair with some blonde high lights. Will this products be okay to use??

Asked by: K_jack99
I only used this on my whole head. I went from Dark brown to bleached light blonde. And used this in between bleaching to refresh my blonde before using a blonde toner. I'm not a professional so I'm not sure what it will do to the brown in your hair, but it will renew the blonde.

Can you use this product on bleach hair? Looking for more white not pale yellow.

Asked by: Sassy white
Yes I use this product on bleached hair. I have a lot of iron in my water so it turns my hair yellow. Bold blonde make my hair bright again and not yellow.

Can you use on highlighed hair without effecting the dark hair?

Asked by: Shortydiva71
Yes! I have high and low lights and this product does not affect the low lights, but definitely brightens the blonde. One of my favorite products for sure!
