Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lavender oil I’m hooked on this oil. It’s extremely heavy so use sparingly. It smells delightful, works to reduce my frizz and tones down the yellow in my grey.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made my hair super greasy I bought this because I was starting to look brassy and my hair was really damaged after going blonde. I use Chi Silk Infusion all of the time and have never had a problem looking greasy. I used a lesser amount of the Brassiness Hair Oil than I do the Chi and I looked like I was coated with cooking oil. I actually had to wash my hair a 2nd time that morning because I was too embarrassed to go to work. The 2nd time I used it, I used even less and still looked greasy but this time my hair also got crunchy. I'm not even sure how that happened but I had to wash it out that time. I do not recommend this product to anyone with thin or fine hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brassiness Hair Oil with Lavender I like this product because it absorbs into my hair but doesn’t give it a greasy look, just healthy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan I always put oil in my hair after i wash it and when i did so with this, it made my hair extremely hard and uncomfortable. I had to wash it again because of this. I use this before i shower now because i don't want to waste it. I haven't noticed any help with brassiness or helping the hair texture itself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brassiness hair oil Leaves hair looking very greasy. The lavender scent is very faint. Did nothing to reduce brassy hue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can help a tiny bit with frizz but....nothing else This is a very light "oil". The oils in it aren't the type to penetrate the hair and actually moisture it (like coconut, olive, or avocado would)...but it can help with some of the frizz. This did not dry out my hair. It just worked more as a "sealer" to help with some of the frizz. I bought this product because it had no silicones and also because I wanted to tone down some of the brassiness from my hair. It's been a week and I haven't seen any cooling of the brass. It has a very neutralscent (not strong at all). I thought it might smell floral since it has lavender/Jasmine extract in it, but to me at least, it doesn't. Which is a good thing because I don't like strong scents. For $2.99, it doesn't hurt to try; Everyone's hair is different! Since it didn't do much for me, I won't repurchase it though. I gave it 2 stars total:. The first star for the fact this product doesn't have silicones in it and the 2nd star because the smell is light and doesn't linger.

Does it tone out brassy yellow orange hair ?

Asked by: Jchesson13
This is a Purple toning oil, Purple tones out Yellow brassy tones. Blue tones out brassy Orange tones. You need a blue based toner or hair color to tone/cancel out the orange in your hair. The purple based toners, oils and hair colors cancel/tone out yellow tones on your hair. Look at color wheel and if you have Gold colored tones I’d get the Ardell Red Gold Corrector and add a few drops to toner or blonde hair color with a purple base or blue violet base toner. Hope this helps. in order for this specific Oil to work you need your hair lifted to a level 9 or 10 to mine out yellow and make hair white/platinum.

In your ad it says dealing with dryness or hair loss? Try a new formula. Which new hair chemist product would that be referring to??

Asked by: Hrgal2014
None! Do not waste your money! I’ve tried multiple products from this brand and they are all horrible. The purple oil left my hair dry and brittle when it was actually soft and healthy to begin with.
