Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Co-Wash Although this is a co-wash, it is the best hair cleansing product for my hair. Some co-wash products can leave build-up over a short amount of time, but, this product leaves your hair squeaky clean yet so soft and conditioned, there is no need to shampoo your hair after a few co-washes. Really great cleansing conditioner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Foams very well Best cowash. Foams up better than As I Am which means you'll use less. However, As I Am Cowash detangles better. Eden is more natural tho.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best co wash ever i bought this product and was like let me give it a try. my hair is rather thirsty and its very hard to moisterize when i wash it. so i gave it a shot and omg my hair was so moist and tangle free which is unheard of. this is by far my favorite cowash. ive tried several co washes and this is the only one by far that detangles freshens and moisterizes my hair. i like the fact that the product really does infuse in my hair. i will always use this product. also i have sensitive skin and eczema and this cowash does not break me out. woohoo

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issa Keeper Issa keeper. I’m low porosity, currently transitioning, 16 months post and I’m about halfway through the length of my hair. It is type 4, but that’s all I can tell right now (maybe a or b??). I tried this because I was just tired and didn’t want to do my whole shampoo and deep condition routine...again, like every week. I tried as I am when my hair was relaxed and that a long night of detangling and breakage that I didn’t want to relive, so I was very hesitant to try the Eden cowash. I kept my expectations low and purposely tested it out right before wash day, just in case. . . When i tried it the first time, I had leave-in, moisturizer, butter, and two different mousses built-up on my hair. Not much build-up on my scalp, but my usual amount of dandruff. I don’t wash my hair loose, but twisted up instead. So I took a medium section and sprayed it with water and detangled, since my hair was already oily. Usually, my natural hair and my relaxed hair saturate easily and detangle fairly quickly. My line demarcation NEVER softens, even with a Shea moisture deep conditioner with heat, and is ALWAYS a pain to detangle. When I applied the cowash. . .ALL of my hair —relaxed, natural, LOD—completely buckled and tangles melted it was glorious. I didn’t apply to my scalp, but when I rinsed it out my twists my hair was still soft and very clean. Not stripped, but not oily/greasy and smelled like nothing, which is how I knew the product build-up was gone. I’ve rinsed my hair with just oil and water before and I could still smell my leave-in. Tried it again on my scalp and scrubbed it two days later, just to see. Sure enough, my dandruff was gone and just a tiny bit dry. I applied oil to my scalp and looked and felt like it does on my typical wash day. I’ve read a lot about frequent cowashing during the summer months, and I didn’t think that was possible for me until now. I’m very surprised at how well this cleans. Rinse out conditioners and cleansing conditioners are not made equal, if you want to cowash, there’s going to be trial and error. However I would recommend this one because it cleaned a ton of build-up and felt very fresh. Not at all like bathing-with-lotion, which is what most people attribute to cowashing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the product, maybe diff container My 3b/c low porosity hair feels great after using. I can even detangle with just this in my hair. However, I am not a fan of the container. I hate cowashes in these containers because I always scoop out too much and it’s hard to hold and open with slippery shower hands. Good product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product! I bought this back in July because my scalp was driving me nuts and my curly hair was like a puff ball. OMG! My hair gets so many compliments now! Soft, shiny, no frizz!!! Just follow the instructions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Works great on my fine thin past shoulders Caucasian hair. It's growing now since regular shampoo was causing breakage. I love the smell and how calm and itch free my scalp is. I use it everyday and rotate one day with an organic shampoo to clarify my scalp. I wish I had tried co washing a long time ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, if applied properly The directions say to apply a liberal amount, but you can go too far with this stuff. I was surprised considering I have thick, coarse, dry hair, but the first time or two I used this, I applied too much and didn't rinse enough. You must RINSE THOROUGHLY. I can't emphasize this enough. If you don't rinse enough it will leave your hair feeling waxy, cause scalp irritation and tangle hair... but if you do it properly it will leave your hair clean, shiny, tangle-free and it will help with itchy scalp. I've found a system that works well for me: 1.) I briefly put a light amount all over my hair and I immediately rinse with WARM water(this looses the dirt). 2.) I apply another light coat of it to my hair. This time I leave it longer while I do other stuff. After about 10 minutes, I rinse thoroughly with COOL water(this seals in moisture & shine). The results are great. I use this about every other time I shampoo, alternating with Nature's Gate Professional products on other days.

Is it good for hair loss?

Asked by: Riri1219
I feel that it makes your hair stronger and less shedding occurs when brushing. If there’s prior hair loss then i’m not sure if it would help with that.

I have fine, curly hair, that can be excessively oily. Will this product leave my hair oily? Or will it weigh down my curls?

Asked by: EMKI2214
It doesn't leave your hair oily or dry it out. It also doesn't weigh down curls it leaves them hydrated, soft and smelling good.

I have natural kinky hair and I don't have dandruff, so I guess if it works good for my hair it can work straightened hair.

Is this like shampoo or like shampoo/bodywash??

Asked by: DanaM8970
It's a conditioner used to cleanse your hair. It doesn't suds up or anything. It's amazing and allows me to detangle my hair easily.
