Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer for type 4 hair Im already on my 4th bottle of this product. I hope they arent discontinuing it in Canada because since August its been hard to find (Clores Beauty supply, walmart etc. Were all out of stock & ive been checking weekly & calling multiple locations). This product is amazing, it defines and moistures my type 4 hair. It literally transformed my hair from frizzy to defined coils. Please dont discontinue this line, I use all the products (masque, leave in, conditioner , body butter)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Line!! I purchased the Twist Defining Custard about a month ago and it smells incredible. This entire line does wonders for my 3c/4a hair. I use it to style my hair and even as a leave-in conditioner when its very humid outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hold My Hair No Matter What! When I do braid outs, it hold my curls perfectly for 5 days instead of the usual 3 days. For my wash and go style my curls looks super hydrated and bouncy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it Although this might not be the most moisturizing product, it defines my 4a coils really well, adds shine, and smells good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product does what it says I have 4a, 4b, and 4c hair and it has been very hard to find products that work for all of my textures. I used this custard alone and it immediately made my hair soft, but when my hair dried, my hair felt kind of rough. Then i decided to use it with the extra moisture detangler(I used the detangler and it didn't work very well by itself either) and these two products combined were THE BOMB!!! I took my twists out expecting them to be lifeless and dull but they were soft and DEFINED!!! I didn't even think it was going to be defined because I usually have to rake products through my hair to get curl definition, and that day I was just lazy and slapped on the products and twisted, but this hairstyle came out awesome. Its really a shame though because I have to put my hair in mini twists this evening... Overall, I am a VERY impressed customer and will be repurchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shea moisture manuka honey twist defining custard I was sent this product to use and review by Sally's and Naturally Curly. I love this product, because it left my hair very soft and hydrated. I used it on clean hair and it had very good slip, smelled like sweet honey and immediately hydrated and soften my hair. My hair looks amazing. So far, no flaking or residue left behind.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for 4c Hair!! I was really looking forward to this defining my hair. I have the deep conditioner and love how it always moisturize my hair and softens if leaving it shinny! I figured why not! I use the same products I usually would with my twist out and could tell that my hair may not come out as I would have hoped. It's kind of a thick consistency for a twist defined and when I put it through each twist out section before twisting, it looked like it just laid on my hair. Usually I would see some type of curls ( you know thats rare with 4c as it is) while running it through my strands BEFORE twisting but It didn't. When I took out my style today it was just as suspected. My hair was mainly puff and just twist at the very ends of my hair. Waste of time. I just decided to pick out my hair and have a stretched fro because I looked crazy lol At least it gave me a nicely heaped moisturized afro but didn't do what it was called to do. Wouldn't advise this in my opinion for 4b-4c hair . I will try again with eco style gel after it and see how it turns out! Cant find the receipt so hoping for the best.

Can someone who either owns this or someone who works for Sally's and has the jar in front of them tell me if the following ingredients are listed? Does the ingredients list have ficus carica (fig) extract in it? It's not listed in the ingredients descrip

Asked by: nvrnakednails1
I purchased this item and it does not say in the ingredients list that it has fig but it is listed in the name and description that there is African rock fig and they highlighted the benefits of this item so it must be mixed in the product (all the Manuka honey and mafura oil products have African rock fig I'm the name)

can this be used on relaxed hair?

Asked by: pepperment pattie7
Sure! There are no ingredients that would harm the relaxed hair it would give a nice moisturizing hold for braid/twist outs :)

I love custards for my wash and go's. This says fir twists, even the directions are for twists so is this not good for wash and go's?

Asked by: Wynter78
It is a cream product. Not gel. So it depends on if your coils/curls respond to creams vs girls better with wash and goes. it is definitely a soft hold.
